I know in the texture override thread it was said that the info you need to change the price/description/etc for an object is in the cobj file but is there an actual tutorial for this somewhere?

ETA: I can see that file and I see where it says Price and things like that but the part I need help with is how in Price for instance, it doesn't just say 2 obviously, it says 0x0000026C. Is there a thread or tutorial somewhere that explains how I figure out what amount that stands for and what to change it to for other amounts? And also, pretty much everything else just says Unknown. Do we know which ones are for changing things like comfort level?

Splitting this off into a new thread since it is not about the tutorial list. (I'm not aware of a tutorial specifically for this, no)

The fields you see in the data grid are usually hexadecimal. You can use any converter to see what the info would be in decimal (e.g. http://www.binaryhexconverter.com/h...cimal-converter ) -- enter 0x0000026C there and you'll see that it is 620 in decimal, and vice versa. (It is very well possible that your Windows has on-board tools for that as well (I only don't have many of those since I managed to nuke e.g. my Calculator app on accident =P so I often use online tools for tasks like that))

Regarding labelling: are you using Inge's COBJ wrapper? Argh, now her forum is gone and the archive doesn't seem to be up yet .. you couldn't download it right now. -- see below. Anyway that still has more labels than the stuff in the current distribution I believe. I don't remember seeing anything specifically about comfort though -- but you can often figure out that kind of thing by either experimenting (see this thread http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=537196 ) or comparing known in game values with the labels.

All the stuff can be found on www.simlogical.com. I didn't archive the forum, just indexed the content under the Sims 3 section at that url.

I handed my wrappers to Snaitf who is getting them merged into the main s4pe project.

Ah I was looking in the TS4 part. You mean it's in this list? http://www.simlogical.com/ContentUp...ploadsIndex.htm (That's where the "The Sims 3 - Downloads and Tutorials" link goes .. for me)

E: ah yay I found them! Direct link: http://www.simlogical.com/ContentUp...e/uploads/3306/
