Default What's the best functional washing machine?
I've only tried Rebecahs, but I ended up deleting it long ago because it didn't look much like a washing machine to me. Other than that I liked it. I know there are others about but I haven't tried them since they're often quite old.

So which is the best washing machine given the choices out there? I'm not worried about gaining skills through them. More the look of the machine and interaction.

Try putting in Rebecca's and then placing a nice Deco one over it using an omsp and see if it still works

http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=233165 This is from Maylin and it works as advertised. I put two side by side in my houses to look like a washer and dryer set.

Icad used Beck's washer and drier making it autonomous for teen-elder to use. They will over-ride Beck's.
One is for fun and hygiene, the other is for comfort and maybe fun. They worked pretty well for me. I don't have a link.

iCad's recolors are here. They won't change how Sims interact with the machine, but it does make it look more like what we are used to nowadays.

Creations can be found on my on tumblr.

I would have gotten beck's, if I could have gotten the recolors - but neither of the recolor links will work (without creating an account-?)

I find a solution downloading an app.box link that doesn´t work:

I am on the verge of being convinced that my Sims need washing machines urgently

That's why I've built an owned laundromat using Icad's autonomous version. Simonut's one was inspirational.
