I didn't vote Labour. >.< I think Kevin Rudd is, quite frankly, over-confident and needs to be knocked down a notch. I like his policies, however.

Yeah, Rudd is too cocky. He's smarmy and I really REALLY don't like him.

I don't like Rudd's policies though. So, I just don't like him

I voted Labor....As far as I am concerned, Johnny Howard AND Peter Costello screwed Australia. Why? How many interest rate rises did we have? When J H said that there wouldn't be any. And seriously.....J H would have retired if he had won, and then Peter Costello would have stepped in.....NO Thanks. Cant stand him either. As long as their paychecks are healthy and what happens with the Australian economy doesn't really affect them, neither of the really give a shit.

In all honesty, All of the parties for the election are just a bunch of thieving liars. If I wasn't going to get fined for not voting.... I wouldn't have.

But I am glad Howard/Costello are out and Rudd is in.

Ugh, I hate Peter Costello...

And the cycle continues... quite frankly, I think Australia was in need of a change of Government (which seems to happen every decade or so). The abolishment of WorkChoices, their commitment to Kindergarten education in Australia and scholarships/HECS scrappings of certain degrees, I'm interested to see how it all pans out... bring it on.

I'm not a massive fan of Kevin Rudd, but I'm so very glad labor won! I support Labor over Liberal by principle (my political beliefs are fairly left-wing/ towards socialism), but I voted for the Greens in the Senate.

I really dislike Howard, in terms of his policies and in the past - his bad choices and OVERT racism. :eviltongu
