This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Ultimate Collection waiting times on Windows 10
Im back on the forums again . So I own The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on Windows 10. I have a RADEON graphics card and a HP laptop. I have installed the graphics rules mod.

When im in CAS and i hit the button to go to the next page of clothes/hair, there is a waiting period of 2-5 seconds. Same goes for buy/build mode. I told an EA Help worker who told me to reinstall and run in compatibility mode. I have no option to run in compatibility mode . I want help as this is becoming annoying. I was renovating a kitchen today and it took me 30 minutes

And for anyone who does help thank you in advance

It's probably the Securom problem - it's included with UC and isn't compatible with Windows 10. I had lag like that until I removed Securom and replaced the exe with a no-CD version (otherwise Securom just re-installs the next time you run the game). Take a look at this thread at leefish: http://leefish.nl/mybb/showthread.php?tid=6688 It has instructions on removing securom and the location of the exe you need to replace, and part way through the replies there is a suggestion of a site to find a replacement exe.

It's probably not that anyway - it's likely to be Securom. There's a thread over at Leefish that describes the problem (and the solution) - watch out you look at the instructions for Win10 and the UC. Also, it involves editing the registry (not always) and using a noCD hack so be warned. If you don't like that sort of thing, you shouldn't do it.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc

The website with the noCD nearly gave my laptop a virus! Is there an alternative way for making my game work?
