I haven't been playing much lately (just focused on other things) but I've gotten some really cute screenshots in the past months. Nothing super out of the ordinary, just some random slice of (virtual) life snapshots:

Default Cliquey Welcome Wagon?

Do other people get this in their game, or is it just me? The Welcome Wagon visitors are all good friends, and they simply socialise amongst themselves, barely interacting with their hosts at all. In this case Jolyon Jeffrey has come with his blonde sister Jemma, and his girlfriend from next door, Grace Jarvie (all of them teens). The three of them are all still eating round the kitchen table, while the newly arrived family, Ron and Roxie Hamble and their son Joey, have all migrated to the sofa. I suppose a bigger kitchen table would help, but new arrivals seldom have money to throw around.

They've rejected a spare chair at the table in favour of the couch too.

While I'm waiting for someone to answer my "stupid/random question" about how to continue my game after having all the sims in a household die (for the very first time in about 10 years that I'm playing this game), I thought I'd post the screenshots showing Caleb's and Silas' Loyal deaths and what's going on now at the house...

1. Caleb died on Friday at 6 p.m. right after he and Silas came home from their jobs. I hadn't noticed that their age bars were full, so the Grim Reaper took me by to total surprise! Silas mourns for his brother's death.

2, 3 and 4. Silas died the next day (Saturday) at 6 p.m. (again the moment he came home from work but I was expecting that to happen now). Dianna DeBore (the "viliain" from Alice's story in Pet Stories) walks by with her poodle, Precious but none of them cares about what's happening around them...

5. The pop-up I got saying that "everone in this household is dead" and that I should move another family in this house.

6. This was the moment I was expecting Grim and the Hula Zombies to leave but they didn't!

7. Grim Reaper watches TV showing no intention to leave this house (it's, also, the first time that I, ever, saw him stay in a house after a sim has died in the Sims 2, even though it happens, mostly, all the time in the Sims 3!).

8. It's night and the Hula Zombies are still dancing outside of the house while other sims watch them dance and greet them. This time it's Julianne Charlot (Stephen's boss) that tries to get their attention...

You should be able to save and exit, or exit without saving. Then make a new family to live there, who will be able to move the graves to a different lot.
Very sad though!

@simsample
Hi simsample and thanks for answering... If I exit without saving, would the game have saved Silas' death (I had saved the previous day after Caleb died) and the house would still be empty? Right now, the Grim Reaper watches TV, I have moved the 2 graves in the back yard but I'm still getting Silas' UI and his motives are... decaying??? How??? He is dead! I'm sooo confused!!!

Something is definitely wrong there because it doesn't let me save (the "save" button is "greyed out") and it doesn't let me go to the neighborhood view either! I'm stuck!!!

That definitely isn't right, after you get the message, the Live UI should grey out and you should be taken to build/buy mode, where you can save and exit.

If that hasn't happened, perhaps you could replay the last sim's death? If it happens again, maybe there's something in your game (mod maybe) causing this to happen?
