Default Alpha default hair replacement?
Hi there!

So this might sound a bit stupid, but is there some way (a mod or something) that makes all EA hairs alpha?
So like a default hair replacement?

I am currently using all maxis match CC because it matches the game, but I actually prefer alpha.
But like, if there's a way to make all EA hairs alpha, that would be soooo cool.

I wouldn't be suprised actually, these cc creaters these days are SO good. :lovestruc

Love!

Maybe you are looking for this mod http://modthesims.info/d/588949
As far as I know, some alpha hairs may look similar in shapes but it seems like no one has bothered to mass-remesh those blocky EA clay hair to alpha (to be fair, some of them are quite cute in a cartoon-y way). Many alpha hairs enjoy the *clayified* treatment though, probably because hair creators have great confidence and pride in their own craftsmanship or it's just simply more efficient to create superior shapes and textures from scratch rather than trying to go backward hand-in-hand with EA? Even conversion of Sims 3 alpha hair is more popular. I have heard rumors that custom hairs in The Sims series is the most masterful in the simulation genre and they have been converted and sold at premium prices in other games (as told by Stealthic who later learned and became a Sims 4 creator).
I mean look at these 1,755 masterpieces
