For various reasons, some story line, some space saving, I often have sims who use a sofa or loveseat as their regular bed. It would be super cool if the sleep interaction were enabled, rather than just the nap one, so they could rest longer. Also, I with there were sofa blanket or afghan I could drape along the back of the couch and that was animated so they could pull it over themselves when they lay down,
And yes, I know all that is YIKE impossible, but a girl can dream, can't she?

Perhaps you could use this, and swap it in and out of the inventory when needed: https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...abed/id/341964/

I'd love to see a couch function as bed too! Make a business out of couch surfing!

Well, since sims 1 conversions were talked about a little bit ago, I'd love a working slot machine. I've only seen deco conversions. Oh, and if someone could mod that myshuno game to earn relationship points and money, like in poker, I might actually use it.
But my number one thing I'd love from TS1 is still probably the witch's dueling arena. I know we'd have animations to pull from, but I've no idea how plausible a conversion would be.

I wonder if you could make a sofabed from a remodeled murphy-bed and some cleverly placed OMSPs?

about pulling from animations; not sure, but animations might also be convert-able.
somewhat related to SIms1 conversions:: Sims1 had a 3x2 table (or maybe it was 2x3). I think it was from one of these: base game, deluxe edition, unleashed. the color I think was dark brown.

I was thinking the same - it should work, especially if you gave the bed the 6 tile area. I know that's annoying when it's not pulled out but it's easier from a modding POV than changing it with the changed bed state. As for the mesh, it would simply be a case, as in the Murphy bed, of having two (actually three) states and swapping them around.

I think somebody did a sofabed recently. I remember seeing something, probably in the Creator Feedback section.
The 2x3 table was the Mesa table, which was Sims 1 Base Game. The Goths had one on their patio.

Oooh, very cool!
I've never been a fan of Vegas or gambling, but I would bet a few of my Sims will love it!

@Prah, thanks! I missed that.
And maxon, that would be cool to be able to switch between two different meshes. I was thinking of that cuz of objects like the sim blender and the acr controller. Maybe a sofa bed wouldn't be fully animated but players could switch between two different meshes via a pie menu?

Klaartje did one, a year or two ago. There's problems with the anims for beds and couches, being at different heights. To make the couch high enough to sleep on, a sim couldn't possibly sit on it without sinking in. To make a couch low enough you could sit on, the sim would float above the bed to sleep, once it was pulled out. I know she had all kinds of issues trying to make it all work out, but there's a LOT of stumbling blocks in making that happen, without creating new anims. And sims ALWAYS sleep with blankets on, while they only nap without. So using the sleep anims without blankets is problematic.
Not saying it's impossible... Just that it's more challenging than it sounds. But go have a look at Klaartje's, over at Leefish. I cant link to it cuz some idiot decided to block my account. It might be under Fishmas 2015 or 2016, if you can't find it elsewhere.

lol, Peni, I'm glad I'm not the only one that stuff like that happens to. Currently, I can't 1) change my email password, 2) access my itunes account, 3)download and update for my kindle because Amazon and Comcast can't agree what my wifi password is, and 4)download some stupid upgrade for crappy, dumb windows 10.
I'm waiting for my son to finally have pity on me and help me because I've done all I can.
IHate, thanks for the link. I downloaded the bed and will use it. But, it's not really what I want. I want them to have to sleep on the sofa, but to have a blanket to cover themselves with. And I can live with the nap interaction; although I would prefer the sleep one. But, I figured there was a reason it hadn't already been adapted.
Thanks, guys, for your feedback. I wonder whether someone could make make pajamas with a blanket stitched to the back tsomething. I just hate for them to lie barefoot and in pjs on the sofa when there's a nor'easter out there.

A lot of objects change states by using different meshes - that's how EAxis did it.

People have made bed blankets and sofa pillows so a sofa blanket probably exists somewhere.

Could you use the hammock animations to make the sleepable couch? That has a "sleep" option, not just nap.
The dive-tank discussion reminded me how much I loved Superstar. I wish all those objects could be converted. It sucks how the celebrity concept skipped Sims 2, but they included it in Sims 3. I sometimes consider re-installing Sims 1 just for that.

Thanks, guys for the these downloads. I will certainly put them into use. I think I'll stick them in inventory and then change out sofas at bedtime. It's a bit clunky, but it's better than the pixels shivering to death night after night.
Thanks, again!

The High Rollers Project is a great set and a lot of fun, but it's old and some objects may cause problems. I posted my experience near the end of the feedback thread and will repeat my findings here.
The craps table will work, but takes a bit of getting used to. You must have at least two playables in your group: one to roll the dice and the other to bet on them. This object includes an NPC. Make sure you have all the required objects. One person forgot to get the croupier stick object and their craps table spawned endless croupier NPCs all over the lot as a result.
I haven't tried the Elvis wedding arch, so I can't say whether it conflicts with anything like the other one with the hearts on it. All I know about is that it includes an NPC.
The other wedding arch with the hearts never appeared in my game. Apparently the extracted Castaway Stories wedding arch was conflicting with and overriding it.
The peacock headdress for showgirls conflicts with some of the base game glasses. I loaded up the Beaker house in Strangetown and Circe had this weird metal thing on her head until I took the headdress out of my downloads. (The shape of the headdress with the texture of her glasses frames)

Any issues with the slot machines @RoxEllen1965 as those are what I am eyeballing the most. I love new ways for my Sims to earn (and lose!) money.

I haven't noticed any problems with the slot machines. They have a loud siren sound attached to them which plays when somebody wins a jackpot, so you may want to watch your volume settings.

A text replacement that changes Best Friends to "Good Friends," and BFFs to "Best Friends." Maybe I can figure this out myself. Does someone have a tutorial for text replacements?
