Default Getting an error message when I try to buy new expansion/game packs
I have been trying to buy Cats and Dogs and some other packs and I keep on getting this error message.

Whoops!
An error occurred. Please try again later. [ref. #Error: httpRequest ERROR: https://gateway.ea.com/proxy/commer...&countryCode=US 409 (Conflict)]

What should I do?

Where are you buying them? The origin web page store or using the origin app?

Did you try Googling the error? That seems to be a pretty common problem error buying games on Origin and there are a lot of threads at EA with possible solutions.

I ended up buying the codes off of Amazon.

The origin app is wonky when I try to buy off of it, so I always end up using the webpage version which works a lot better IMO.

Are you by chance using a VPN? I had this problem myself, and found it was because of that. Turning it off fixed it for me.
