I'm not buying for three reasons:

1. I've been a "Fan" long enough to know The Sims 4 will have at least $300 worth of expansions before the game is "Complete"
2. The Sims 2 was given away for free and is 10 times better than The Sims 3 and likely will be better than 4.
3. I refuse to buy EA anymore.

I'm using my $60 I actually saved up for TS4 (Seriously) for Resident Evil Remake for the PS3 (Just announced today).
Or maybe The Evil Within. IDK, something actually GOOD. Fire Lucy Bradshaw before making The Sims 5 and Simcity 6 please EA.

I can't buy anything in place of this, I am one of the idiots who pre-order the Platinum Premier Grande Super bundle. WHAT WAS I THINKING?!

And they're making a remastered version of Resident Evil for PC as well (saw it today too), including the original 4:3 format and a new 16:9 widescreen version. Certainly worth it in place of this game, even for only a dozen hours of reliving the creepy fun the first time around. Oh, and a new 5.1 surround sound track. That will make it fun to play with the lights off.....................

Speaking of which.................

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, some food I can eat while I'm recovering from having two teeth extracted, and maybe my mom and I can go shopping outside of town. Maybe I'll order some curtains for my room, to replace the blinds (which are broken and can barely fit in the window.)

I probably won't buy anything. Because I'm broke, lazy, unmotivated (and also not qualified due to mental issues), as well as anxious to get a normal job.
Oh, and have I mentioned I'm lazy?

"I ain't got no money!"

The Sims 4! Weirder Sims! Aren't they weird!? Look how weird they are! Bet you can't wait to see how weird their stories are!?

Dragon Age Inquisition but only because I got to have a good long talk with the Bioware Devs at Pax East (I was an Enforcer this year and had a blast), asked a ton of questions, and went to their presentations, and really like the direction they are taking the game (and what they mentioned of ME4) and the fact they are taking their time and really seem to be listening to their consumers about what WE want from this game - by actually talking to people on fan sites outside the Bioware Social Network by talking to people at gaming conventions, and via FB and Twitter. Otherwise since they are an EA subsidiary I would normally not be buying it after Dragon Age II, Mass Effect 3, and the 67 patches for Sims 3 for BG/EPS/SPs in comparison to 18 for Sims 2 (excluding the digital d/l and DVD patches which were only created cause patches would not patch all three at the time) but having talked with them I think they can be trusted to do a better job this time.

I also plan on Witcher 3, Civilization Beyond Earth, Child of Light, Final Fantasy III, and the Android-PC port of "The Room" (I really really recommend this to anyone who likes survival horror or puzzle games)

So, since you're not forking over $60-80 for TS4 anytime soon, what do you plan to spend it on?

(Don't come over here trying to convince us to buy. Take your sleazy salesmanship to the shrines/official forums. The devotees will gladly devour that shit. We don't want any here.)

Don't know about "we", most people here are hardcore EA fans.

Anyway, like you said there's no way in hell I'm dropping a dime on this s**t, so I think I'll ether get a new oil filter for my car or pre-order GTA V. Though that depends on whether or not I get to try GTA V before the pre-orders end, which in turn depends on whether or not there's a gap between the US and EU Steam release dates.

Instead of The Sims 4, I'll buy all the things! Not just some things, ALL of the things!
