This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Changing file names
I am curious would I screw things up if I renamed a package file in the folder" Downloads" ?
it would help me to keep my folder organized

Not at all, you can name files and folders whatever you like as long as the Downloads folder is still called Downloads.

Do be aware that special characters like &, *, [, ], (, ) etc. in filenames will slow down your game's loading time.
What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
