This mod changes the emotions that certain buffs will give a Sim, diverting focus away from the "Uncomfortable" and "Tense" emotions and onto more interesting ones.

Changes
  • Low Hunger and low Energy will now make your Sim Dazed.
  • Low Hygiene will now make your Sim Angry Embarassed. (update: this has been removed in the newest version as it made it too easy for Sims to get into the "Mortified" emotional state which made them vulnerable to dying of embarassment)
  • Low Fun will now make your Sim Bored.
  • Sickness-related buffs will now make your Sim Dazed.
  • Low Social will now make your Sim sadder than it did before.
  • The “Stale Surroundings” and “Needs Video Games” buffs will now make your Sim Sad.

Mod Not Working Properly?
Some people have been reporting that, while the UI is showing the correct emotion for individual buffs, the emotion that is given to a Sim is not updating. If you have this problem, try the following method:
  • Edit your resource.cfg file in the Mods folder and add the following line: DirectoryFiles unpackedmod autoupdate
  • Create a folder called "unpackedmod" if you don't already have one.
  • Download "Zerbu - Buff Changes - unpackedmod" from the download page.
  • Extract the archive into your unpackedmod folder.

Conflicts
This mod overrides both the Data and XML files for all the buffs it modifies, which is all need-related buffs with the exception of Bladder, all sickness-related buffs, and the specific buffs mentioned above. It will conflict with other mods that do the same.

Compatibility
This mod has been tested with patch 9/9/14.
