I've dropped all my firewalls and given ALL privilege to all users on my pc yet vista continues to block access to any program folder from any user. even tried "running as administrator"


i have the monkey installer from this site.. downloaded and installed correctly..
attempting my first download to be used with the monkey installer, gives me this error message as seen below..


access to the path 'C:\program files\Electronic arts\the sims 3\mods\packages\amface-light-v1_hystericalParoxysm.package' denied access

please help...

Have you turned off User Access Control?

There's a special version of the Monkey designed to work with UAC, are you using that? (It's in the main post, but I don't know when it was added.)
