Are you liking that? I adored The Lovely Bones and bought The Almost Moon thinking it would be just as good, but I was sorely disappointed. I thought it was frivolous and lacked a point. Unless she comes up with something better, I think Sebold is a one-hit wonder, but I can't wait to see The Lovely Bones hit the movies and see how it's interpreted in film.

I've recently been flicking through the Vampirates books again by Justin Somper seeing as the next one, Black Heart, is meant to be coming out next January and to my knowledge it is meant to have a killer ending... Seeing as a large portion of the characters are Vampires/Vampirates I don't have a clue what to expect. Lets just hope nothing happens to lovely Lorcan (he is too good not to bold). ^^

I'm reading 1984 by George Orwell. It's fantastic, and very sad. I'm not easily shaken by books but I guess it hit home since I was born in a socialist regime myself, even though it was abolished when I was younger than 4.

I've been slightly tempted to read those books but I'm holding off at the moment. It is mostly that promotional film stuff at the moment. ^^

Cool, Thanks. I didn't even though the film is out... What certificate (age rating) is it?

Sorry, back to topic: I have also recently been flicking through Maximum Ride again by Jame Patterson and they are just amazing books. I have to say the books get down hill from the 3rd one though.

Guh - Paul McAuley's 'White Devils' -- sooo good. Confusing as hell at first and a bit of a tough read.. but now that I'm about two chapters from the end.. it's amazing.

If you're wondering.. I got it off my partner. It's not exactly a 'girls' book. Blood, guts, and gengineered critters ;]

I just finished Twlight. I love it so much, it fills me with happiness.
I'm gonna read the rest of them and then, read them all over again.
I've never done that before.

The Princess Bride by William Goldman. The humour makes me laugh out loud and I've already had some funny looks from people on the bus because of it. XD

That's one of my favourite books of all time. The movie is good, but in my mind it can't compare to the book.

Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams

All these twilight books ;]

I've read the series. Am looking into reading The Host (another Stephenie Meyer book) because my friend suggested it (she is the one who got me to read the Twilight books). But, really, I'm not big into romance. Easy reads, though..

Other good reads:
Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer (the movie was well done - Kristen Stewarts character was far too developed considering the real person was barely a blip in his life - but the book was far better - superb if I may)
Earth's Children Series by Jean M. Auel - Clan of the Cavebear, Valley of Horses, Mammoth Hunters, and I'm halfway through Plains of Passage (have yet to pick up Shelters of Stone). Love these. Use to discuss them with my Nan back when she was still alive.

Need to pick up some new ones, but I'll probably just get another one off my partner.. since I'm cheap and lazy. Nothing like action and espionage.

I have been thumbing through a Naturopathy book on my own free will. Should really get to reading it thoroughly..

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is what I'm reading by myself, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone I'm reading to my daughter one chapter every night.

Eagerly awaiting Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.
