I discovered this a few years back when I wanted to restore the original Pleasantview neighborhood after I got tired of playing my version. It may be common knowledge to most of you but it may help some new players who don't have to do a complete reinstall

It's better to get Tarlia's cleaned versions - less corruption and fewer bugs than the Maxis originals.

@Meduza Is this bed functional and is it made to work without IKEA Stuff Pack?

Yes, it is functional. I don't have IKEA SP and it works for me. Honestly, I wouldn't have made it if I had had IKEA SP.

If you have Do-It-Yourself Curtains by SimPlan-X here is a link to many more recolors. German site, she has other nice downloads. She even includes the original mesh knowing that the site is gone, which I wish so many others would do.

I'd forgotten how much I hated the female voice in Sims 3.

Through Strange Tomato's tumblr, found this list of interesting things you can do in the game, some I had no idea of:
http://snootysims.com/extrasindex.php?id=didyouknow

Examples
- your Sim can swim on its back while clicking him in the pool
- you can pay off a Sim that kicks your trashcan
- you can free the burglar after it's captured in the policecar

An old upload by Niol - a collection of unusual fences. Includes fences based on base game hedge, base game bamboo, weeds, grave stones, birch trees, postless fences, fenceless posts, etc. I like the bamboo fences. The bamboo is usually used that way in my game anyway and laying down a fence is much quicker and easier than plopping down individual plants one at a time.

A huge set of magnificent 2 story cathedral windows by Julsfels at the Fairy Forest:

I might not have a church to put this in, but they're stunning.
