Try the new sticky thread on the 4 GBT patch and clearing memory.

@suzymarie64 I have the latest HP graphics driver, problem is that HP is stupid enough to not have laptop driver updates in 5+ months for their NEW HP ENVY X360. God, I wanna smash or sell this laptop.

@omglo I'll consider it, and yes I did try without custom content, seems like before I added new hairs and stuff (not counting InTeen and incest mod), the textures were fine when I did Graphics Rules Maker for the first time. My gf seems to have a good time with it and she runs a RX 480, FX-6300 and 8GB RAM on Windows 7 PC.

Hey, you might want to try the instructions here: https://simsvip.com/2014/07/20/the-...solution-guide/

They talk about how to get the game to start in a higher resolution. I always do this (the 'seti edit' and the additional maxres in the .sgr file) when I start a brand new installation, and my game looks great. When I did the Origin update tonight I forgot to do this and I got the same super low quality textures in your screenshots (I was <stressed> to say the least until I remembered the missing step.) Worth a try! I know you might have edited your .sgr further up thread, so please excuse me if you didn't, but that SimsVIP link and this one as well: https://www.forestbalrog.com/smooth...greyed-out.html tell you to do two different things with your .sgr (and the VIP link has the higher res so I always use those settings) but these have been shown to work. Hope that helps!

Have you tried to download a graphic card from Leefish?

For some reason which I can't explain, the grahic rules maker does not work on my pc, but getting the right card from Leefish was all I needed. Have a look here: http://www.leefish.nl/mybb/showthread.php?tid=6569 or here :
http://www.leefish.nl/mybb/showthread.php?tid=5446 - there may be a card there for you that you can just download.
