We've already seen animals in the game: fish and birds. Anything extra specials - be wary. We've already got downtown gameplay in the base game - don't push your luck too much.


Oh I'm not holding my breath for things like cats and dogs and whatever. I'm just hoping that they have fish and bugs (like the Sims 3 base game) AND also incorporate a birds, reptiles, and small mammals system so that these can be added on to with each expansion, thus giving the Pets expansion more room to breathe and add gameplay when we finally get it.

I don't expect a huge development, just a few proverbial bricks to get started so there can be a mansion by the time the Pets EP rolls around.

Back to the topics. I know one of the developers (I think it was the woman from the Gamescom LB) made some of the toddler animations for The Sims 2 (one of them is stealing the bottle) so hopefully we can see some of that in Sims 4, too.

I went to sleep and had 20 pages to catch up on. And still nothing new other than maybe districts, rendering huge lots takes a while, shoes are categorized, angry sex, babies have legs, and maybe animals (animal thing according to a German article). We haven't even seen babies and toddlers.

I think there should be summary posts every few pages to save some people the time. :P

...my patience is wearing thin, at gamescom, there were many computers which allowed for many updates, and for this E3, we only get 1 large computer and limited time for 100's of eager simmers to try...and they said they can't record anything or do audio

Apparently some d-bag thinks that the "lowest point" (directly translated from Norwegian) of E3 so far was as follows:

"No one, and I mean no one deserves to see that much of The Sims 4"

o ok then
It's just a blog post, but still, what gives? We hardly even got 5 mins worth of info.
