This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons
Default Game Crashing
Right, so i took the time to install University after all, wiping out the old installation and starting from scratch... creating a new neighborhood an all.

Been playing for a while with my "legacy" house and now, all of a sudden it crashes.. no new downloads and such been added, it just decided to not play ball anymore. This really is annoying since it took me some time to create ancestors and such to haunt the place for the next generations, so b4 i delete the whole lot, might ask if someone knows how to fix this.. at EA they just told me the usual, turn off AV progs an background tasks.. the obvious, hehe..

Anyway, my current machine is quite capable of running the game and i have no errors, crashes, lockups in other houses, only in the one i'm mostly playing at.

Sys specs :

Intel P4 3.2Ghz HT proc
1024 DDR 3200 400 ram
Nvidia Geforce Ti4200 128
Soundblaster Live!

I also have the error log saved, which isnt making any sense to me, but if someone understands it, here it is :

Right, thats about it.. and of course.. i have all the latest patches, drivers updated etc, etc...

K, problem seem to have been solved, lol...

The culprit was to be found here : http://forums.modthesims2.com/showt...08&page=1&pp=25

Caused conflict with the university guitar and obviously, all the houses I had the guitar i, kept crashing on me... took some time to fix.. a load of bulldozing and deleting files from the downloads folder, but in the end... all is well... but.. for how long :D
