awkward moments
do you guys have awkward moments ? if yes tell me i can say a few thinks: i remember i was calling a friend, i had his mom on the Phone so i asked if my best friend was avaible or something and she answered yes
so i had my friend on the Phone and he said: hello ? but i accidently said his name instead of mine oops
we couldn't stop laughing when i accidently said his name instead of mine, i couldn't came out of my words just because i was laughing very weird (i laughed as a witch)
i hope my mom didn't overheard it (i had that with my aunt too on the Phone 3 years ago or so)
and the other one was on vacation, i was in spain, we went to the beach and walked to the boulevard,
i got itching so i tight out (the itching was on my nose)
so i crab on my nose, and then i wanted to say: i had to crab to my nose but i said a weird word and the 2 words, crab and f*ck rhymes on each other in dutch
so i accidently said this word: i had to f*ck on my nose
my dad was like: UHM WHAT DON'T YOU HAVE TO TELL ME SOMETHING ? WHO'S THE FATHER OF YOUR KID ?
but both my mom and i couldn't stop laughing and i said laughing: uhm sorry i didn't mean to say that i said it by accident
but my dad was like: yeah yeah i don't believe you (thank god i said this stupid word in dutch or else everyone could hear what i was saying there in spain )
and the last one was to the mall with my mom: i was to the mall with my mom looking for a game or something
but then i bumped to my dad (or atleast i thought it was my dad ) but i was like: uhm he had to go to work right ?
so i called my dad but he still didn't answer me
so i kept called my dad, he turned on and he was like: uhm what, what is it ? and then i was like oh (awkward)
i......i thought you were my dad, i'm..........i'm so sorry i apologize for this and then he said: oh so you thought i was your father (he laughed very hard, thank god it wasn't a creepy men who do bad things to girls/women's ) i just hope my mom didn't overheard all of it but she told me she had that once too when she was just a kid so she won't blame me for it
i might have a few more awkward moments i can tell you but it might be too much to share it on this comment

When I was a little girl I used play/relax in the living room of house while my father watched pornography on the TV.
Would pay attention to it too, if something silly happened. Didn't find it awkward tho I guess it would be.

i know i'm not supposed to do the double posting but i also had this awkward thing i've experience 2 weeks or so ago
my parents and me were spending the time with each other by going to the cinemas so we took the train
then we went out of the train, we went inside the cinemas (like usual)
and we were watching a movie and my dad asked if we were at the right place so my mom checked it out and we end up sitting on the wrong room and movie
we were watching a wrong movie we ran away ASAP and we finally went to the right room and watched the right movie (the right movie just like started when we came there )

Awkward? Where do I start? It would take a while, so grab a seat and something to nosh on and listen to my nattering on of my awkward life which, in spite of fate, I am still alive.
(I'm not going to natter on. It would be agony to try and hear how it happened)

I agree, seeing as how (grammer?) I LEFT years ago in a huff (& no, that's not a new car). Besides, I know YOUR history.

But we're glad both of you are back. I think we can put past history behind us and love and support each other.

Sounds like a British Leyland family car from the 60's.
I've had tons of awkward moments up until now I'm sure, but I mostly stopped giving a shit.

i remember when i just started typing things on youtube on a video, my english was so f*cked up and that was from like 5 or 6 years ago
everyone was like: uhm what? i don't understand what she is saying
but i found out 2 years or so ago that the google translate is so f*cked up so i don't use it anymore after i found out (i use this one quite often before i found out it isn't the good translate to use it)
i learned from that awkward mistake i quite often made when i was younger (i'm dutch afterall so i couldn't speak english very well when i was younger)

So I go to my brother's daughter's funeral and people come up to comfort me - because of my red nose and eyes, and sniffling, while I hold a Kleenex over my nose & mouth trying not to give them my COLD. What can I say? Thank you.. (I barely knew her).
Stand up, speak out. Just not to me..

At an after show party one time I got rather 'tired and emotional' as the saying goes. I'd got it into my head that this bloke, who I didn't much like the look of, was following me about the room. "Who is that old creep?" I asked one of my friends. "Oh, that'd be my dad," she said.

I was using my roomie's lemon juicer and it just snapped and it was followed by an embarassed 'oops.' I'll get her another in the morning.

Oh, and there was the time my sister invited her boyfriend to dinner. He turned up, all beaming smiles, determined to charm all of us. To this end he had supplied himself with a bottle of champagne. There's a reason why those things have those wire seals over the cork. And it's also a good idea to be careful where you are pointing the bottle when you pop the cork. We used to have this circular strip light in the living room with a fancy etched glass shade. Yeah, used to have. Boyfriend popped the cork, it shot out like a bullet and next thing we were all sitting there covered in shards of glass. A pregnant silence followed: boyfriend looking like he wished the earth would open up and swallow him. Finally my mother said: "Well, I was sick of that shade anyway, nasty vulgar looking thing!

Trying to call the vocational office, only to learn the hard way they close at 4:30. Tried twice, no answer. Boy, I feel dumb. They should at least print the hours of operation in the letter of acceptance and assignment.

Awkward? Well, being told you're batshit crazy crazy by your own mother is awkward for anyone.
However, she's known me my entire life, so I kinda have an awkward moments being reminded just how batshit crazy I am.
Sometimes living with me is difficult, even maddening. I've known men bold enough (or foolish enough) to analyze me. I once broken a male expert on autism in adolescent patients. This is my most awkward moment in my entire life and I wear the crown of "Expert Psych Breaker" well.
Then again, I usually only allow female doctors to examine my entire being in terms of overall health after that incident.
