I have been working on the new Goth Manor.
I take no credit whatsoever for the shell of this house, Plasticbox built it as a museum for her Middleground hood, I noticed it and thought it would make a great Goth manor so tweaked the outside a lil bit with more to come

I have just decorated in the dining room and Kitchen, at this stage. Theres not a lot of clutter, as I don't like to clutter up playable houses. So far im liking how its turning out.

Not really good at decorating, but I re-did this room. It was originally Etsu's bedroom (or maybe Vivian's? they both had double beds in). There's not much space in the apartment for Vivian, her husband Mitch (Indie), Etsu and her two younger half-siblings Kujo and Kurou, but I think I made it work...

@grammapat Squeee! I love mid-century design, and you've totally captured that lovely warm essence in this photo. Do you have any more around the house of the beloved Goodies??

Thanks! I like it too. Even if wearing a hat in the house is stupid...I wonder if I can find a mod that only lets you take the hat off in your own house...probably not.
I have a new Pleasantview that has the FOUNDERS, and the whole place, everyone's clothes, etc, are 1950 to 1980. There ARE children born out of wedlock, but it's not OK. No aliens or other creatures, no one gets abducted, few go to college...but that gets boring!

Hmm, that would make for an interesting mod methinks! Perhaps having either a rug at the doorway, or maybe a coat hanger, where as soon as Sims draw near it they change outfits! Would be most suitable for if you were to, say, where a hat and sunglasses with a fancy dress outdoors, but change into more comfortable clothing and ditch the hat and glasses inside! Either way, sounds really fun!

Not going to work I'm afraid, the form the hair takes is tied to the outfit the sim is wearing. The hat in the picture is coded for everyday.

This is Julian and Kirsten Cooke's house. For some reason I always give Julian that blue house with the little pond in DV. Usually I don't make it over so awesomely though. I took into account both Kirsten and Julian's interest, as well as personality... Here are the results:

This decently sized kitchen. It hasn't yet got all the appliances Julien wants - but it's more furnished than the usual kitchens I make.

This big livingroom perfect for Kirsten's social gatherings, as well as lots of space for her to paint, play chess or watch movies.

This bathroom, with a shower for when Julian makes a mess while cooking or quickly has to wash before work, and a bath tub for Kirsten's long bubble baths - or washing the toddlers and dogs.

I can't seem to find my picture of the kids bedroom, but when I do i'll add it in and add the next picture as a spoiler...

Here is the whole house. As you can see I haven't changed the structure of it. Though I am planning on splitting up the children's bedroom into two bedrooms one for their daughters Peridot (child) and Pearla (infant) and one for their son Parsley (toddler).

Nice - I really like limey greens too. Is that a recent thing - fashion-wise I mean? Or is it just me getting old?

@arieanimal - where did you get that kitchen island set? It looks like sims 4! Is it sims 4?

I use the sims as a psychology simulator...
