Yay you did it!, just a question, did you include the family on the lot if not super yaaay! If so I'll remove it with my normal game and save them. If you could post the family too, it'd be good for when I try to prepopulate the world use the same way you did for this. I promise I won't use this for any uses other than inclusion in the world and putting down in a town to play with for my own personal use, playing with it normally (i.e. Not for a Video or story for public use) except if it involves the world.to upload to your profile go to create and click on upload ,items it may not be accepted for any reason.

Ok ok hmm, Im not sure if It works with sims, it would have been better as a whole family cause I don't know the family tree, and how much CC did you use is my first question, unwanted CC clothes is worse than unwanted CC objects, IMHO. I don't think it airs in the uk, or it is on a station in an unsubscribed category (literally my parents don't pay for those kinds of channels. We have General entertainment (BBC, Gold, SKY, ITV etc.), documentaries (history, nat geo) and kids (Cartoon Network, Disney, Nickelodeon) I dont watch much TV anyway... So I'll log in with my mums old account and download them. They appear in Saved Sims folder too, that's another way of doing it, if you save them to folder. But anyway I'll download them. What house do I movem into? The one your building or the one you've built or one of mine or one you plan to build?

Guys. I have Bad news, i was running CAW doing edits to the world, and when i was doing so, it said CAW had found corrupted data... Im going to have to reinstall CAW, ive moved my files to a safe place, dont worry. I may have to go to a previous backup. Either way, ive lost over half an hours work. As so, it means that the next release and lot placement is going to be delayed slightly. Hopefully im not going to lose all my data, cause that would be catastrophic. I may have to convert my Playable World into a CAW World using a download, any way it isnt good. Ill report back later after ive uninstalled and reinstalled CAW! |

I'm making a mess here so I thought to post too. squaretable, please post pictures of the work, keep the post name up to date (I don't see a file upload to test the world). Good luck with your CAW issues though. xHunniexBunniex, please post pictures of the items you are uploading to this thread for the OP to get. Using PM and sending the files directly to the OP is a better way though, CFF is not for sharing your lots and sims with -everyone-. |

Its all, alright, done TS3 update and CAW update and its getting along like a house on fire! Extended the Highway and started building a housing estate in Vallington. As well as sorting On-Ramps on Bridges. Quote:
Its on the previous page on a post on the 15th of July. Bunnies still the only tester I so far know of. I plan on posting new pictures soon, I just haven't got round to it yet. And Bunnies been sending me TS3 exchange links via PM and emails now to transfer wanted creations. I didn't know about pictures though, I just had to imagine it usually before hand. Thanks for Feedback, cause Feedback, of any kind, is helpful (as long as its Constructive )

It's fine to post just pics, but when you add such a little bit of text, you could consider what you say "work out what ive done from them!" Makes is sound that you're not really even after feedback, or that you want to make giving it very hard for the users. ![]() For feedback, I would strongly encourage you to read our Worlds-upload guidelines and Lots and housing-guidelines. You have a lot to improve on the architecture, as well as on terrain sculpting and painting. Here is also a link to CAW tutorials. ![]() Try to smoothen the terrain near bridges, the angles are very unrealistic now. Terrain painting looks very heavy for where you have done any, but it might be that you have just slammed the paint there to paint more later. You should have two to three grassy paints, same amount rocky paints, at least 2 different sands and dirts. Your world is also very flat! You need more hills, valleys, perhaps mountains, cliffs, anything you could see in the read world. Many of the lots are very boxy and have awkward roofing. For this I would suggest you concentrate on making a few lots first, and uploading them separately to the site, to get some experience on how the upload process works and what we expect to see. Read the guidelines, and post the work on this forum first to get feedback! Making a full world with lots is a huge work that takes months if not years. I'm not saying this to discourage you, but for what I see now - doesn't seem like you have read the guidelines at all, or you have not understood them. Making a feedback thread is a great step towards creating a good world you can one day possibly share here for other users to enjoy. I am happy to see new CAWers stepping in to the game and I like many of the ideas you have a lot. Now we (you and the people giving you feedback) just need to work to make it stand up to the guidelines. So, please try to make a few lots approvable first, and lets work more with the full world after, how does this sound? Please also consider actually telling people what you have done and what kind of feedback you expect to get and on what. ![]() Edited to add: If someone else is making the lots for you, it's still up to you to make sure they stand up to the guidelines; you should not put them to your world if they don't. |

OK i've read the guidelines. I didn't know the lots/Sims had to be of MTS individual quality, but at least for now I think i've been mostly following their guidelines. Note for my terrain sculpting and painting especially is only temporary, especially the mud by the lake. I'm gonna have a look in a photo-editing programme to recolour some grasses and first, as well as look for some better rocks for the mountains, I might use WCIF. As for the fact its flat, I tried to do it on a realish scale, so there's a few mountains, cliffs and a specially sculpted hill. The suburbia I feature a lot is called Vallington because its surrounded on all sides by a mountain range. As for the boxy houses, if you are talking about my council housing, I done that on purpose, the council housing where I live doesn't have much in the way of features and are mostly big cuboids with gabled roof. Usually the only feature of the other houses is a garage, a porch or a bay window, and sometimes an extension. This is the only World I think i've got into, mostly because I put it here on the CFF. I knew from the start this world was gonna take at least a year, its been over 3 months since I started it. If you'd like to check it out, look through the first page and you'll find a link to mediafire. I think I'll do each area one by one, doing all the lots and detailing in one before moving onto another, unless I lose momentum/ideas/enthusiasm in which I'll move else where. An example you've seen is where I went onto the red light, the MSA, the old beach resort (cape brightpool) I've also added descriptions to the photos, my brothers were kind desperate to make some stupid twilighty Katy Perry Luscious Sparkly House for their Twilight Katy Perry Luscious Sparkly Sims.

Posted: APRIL 11TH 2013 OK, I went into CAW yesterday, and sorted out LOADS of roads ( and yes, I mean loads) alas I have yet to take pictures, but to help you picture it, the highway has finished its length and goes elevated after the section i built previous (the bit after the intersection) plus, I've made the suspension bridge dual carriageway (y'know, two different roadways) or just, I put two of them right next to each other. Its basically so that the road leading up to it (which has a median on both sides) doesn't look all weird and funny.I also fixed some sidewalks, where they had gone all funky, and straightened roads, while keeping then (relatively) curvy. Alas,I have yet to make pics... So yeah!:P (Sorry if there was any weird words in there, my nexus 7 thinks it can correct my spelling) |
