This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Sims 2 UC suddenly not working
Hi, I'm running Windows 7 with an Intel i5-4460 at 3.2Ghz. I have 8gb ram and a Sapphire Radeon R9 290. Basically my game was working perfectly fine yesterday and I haven't put any new cc into it since. Whenever I press play on origin; there is a ping noise then a message box comes up with an x symbol on it and I can only press ok and the game doesn't start.

You could try repairing it from the Origin launcher.
