This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Unable to cast spells
I have created three witches on CAS but when I play as them they are put as 'humans' and can't cast any spells, I was told they need to become witches first but did I not make them as such?!

I tried to edit them using master controller and they gained the magic bar but they still cannot cast any spells and are treated as humans.

This is not a bug/glitch, but how the game is supposed to work. See the Supernatural FAQ from EA, as well as this guide on witches by IGN or the The Sims 3 Supernatural: Witches Guide Spell List, Wands, and Magic Boosts from Carl's Sims 3 Guide
