...do we take that as an indication that you hate your parents?
for someone who seems to enjoy coming down on people about children so much, you seem to forget that you too were a child at some point in your life.

Yeah, a lot of people think it's ideal to have the boy first and then a girl, so the older one can "protect" the younger one.

Doesn't always work, my brother never wanted anything to do with me.

But 19 kids, sheesh...

Why does the song "Every Sperm is Sacred" pop up in my head every time I read about the Duggars?

Mine neither, pretty much. Then again, I can't blame him. I'm 8 years younger than he is, so I stole his position as the baby of the family.

I think they really like each other to spend that much time in their bedroom. Remember the ever ready bunny? Try to imagine two of them at once.

Okay so I figured this thread could use some humor seeing as people are worked up over how many kids they have.

Just think those of you who don't like it all that much you don't have to live with that many kids. They do because they want to and that's their choice.
You would think breeding rabbits would help me be slightly more mature about the mental image of rabbit porn, but it's had the opposite effect on me. Now, I just can't help but picture Jim Bob chasing Michelle, getting on top of her, doing you-know-what, and adding in a little twist for good measure. I'll go ahead and blame that lovely pair of "pants" I've vented about today for helping to create those thoughts.

And yeah, they can choose to have enough kids for a football match, for all I care. I just think they're crazy. That's far from the only reason I think they're crazy, though. For starters, they follow the teachings of this guy.

Was it Gothard? I thought Pride (wow, nice pun with the surname) founded the whole nine yards.

It's disgusting to think of Jim and Michelle getting down so much, but it's nice to know they still do. They even fired back that Octomom (Nadya Suleman) was a "fake" and that "We had the sex and had them naturally and everything, but we'll pray for her." Dear God (no pun intended, either). Twenty kids in Arkansas would do that to me, too.

I wasn't referring so much to the Quiverfull movement, actually. The Duggars are strong supporters of Gothard's teachings, in addition to the Quiverfull movement.
