the "that horse" challenge
so this could be an interesting challenge it is once again inspired by the new nickelodeon show “ride” (and really every other underdog horse movie where the horse starts out as wild and is “no good” to anyone but ends up having the ONE person it trusts and lets ride it and do stuff with it like flicka, seabiscuit, spirit, and others i’m sure i’m missing)

I don’t have a really catchy or fun name for it yet as of right now I’m just calling it “the horse nobody wanted”

the backstory: Ever since you were a little kid all you ever dreamed of was having a horse of your own, and owning your very own horse ranch and raising a horse to stardom, whether that’d be as a successful show jumper, or whether you raced your way to a well known jockey
well, you grew up and your dreams soon were going to come true as a distant relative had died and had decided to leave their horse ranch…to YOU!
you can’t BELIEVE your luck! finally you could chase the dreams only equestrians could ever dream of!
but…there’s one catch.
you also aquire “that horse” that horse is a horse that no-one has ever been able to ride (or get to do anything else for that matter) most of the time it won’t even let anyone interact with it without them getting an arm full of teeth or a hardened hoof to…unpleasent places
they hadn’t even given the poor critter a name they just call it “that horse.”

your goal: well, you weren’t about to let one little roadblock stop you from chasing your dreams so you decided to take the deal! you find out very quickly they really weren’t joking! that horse is just one unhappy, misunderstood nightmare! so your goal is to socialize with it, give it some loving (and possibly a little scolding and praising) until you can break some of its bad habits and actually ride it

here’s how it works: first, create your ranch, it can be as intricate or as plain as you want it, it can be a well furnished rich persons dream ranch, or a small cottage on a large plot of land
you don’t even have to have a stable if you don’t want to
BUT do make sure your ranch has
at least a pasture to keep your horse(s)
TWO training arenas one for show jumping, and one for race training

your sim: your sim may be any age you want him/her to be look however you want them to and dressed anyway you want them to be
you can have any traits you want though “equestrian” and “loves the outdoors” would be a couple handy traits to include

next you may use testingcheatsenabled and freerealestate to place them on your ranch (if you need to)

after that NO CHEATS

your horse: it can be any breed, color, age, size you want it to be there are no limitations HOWEVER you must include these traits
*aggressive
*ornery
*and untrained

finally place your horse in your ranch

your first goal gain the horse’s trust, and break some of its bad habits during this stage only YOU are allowed to interact/ride the horse that means no other people in your family and no friends or neighbors may ride this horse, it’s dangerous! so get it trained first! do this through social interactions and praising or scolding it to get the kind of behavior you want from it
once your horse trusts you enough and you’ve made it to at least the “friend” stage then it’s time for you to ride!
next you must get the horse broken in (ride it until it is no longer “untrained” )
once you’ve broken some of the bad habits, and have trained your horse continue to raise your friendship level with him/her

next: training! ok, so your horse trusts you now and you are beginning to realize that it may have just been misunderstood all this time so now comes the training! you may train for either the jumping courses, the race track, or both! and you can compete at either type of competition when you think you (and your horse) are ready, start going to some competitions and work your way to the top until you’ve placed first in each level of each kind of competiton

once you have gotten one horse to trust you and begun it’s training, you can start buying or adopting other horses to add to your ranch and become a horse trainer!
