Hi All,

As you may have noticed, at the top of the page are some changes to the MTS2 navbar. It's now more compact, but has dropdown menus to easily allow you to go to particular areas on the site. The logo image has been made smaller, and the news now appears above the navigation bits.

Your private message stats now appear underneath the User Tools menu along with your name. Quick links still appear under the navbar.

I realise this is quite a change and some of the items have moved places, but overall I think it gives a much more user friendly and intuitive navigation experience.

Hope you like it.

Regards
Delphy

I like this new design, it looks cool and is efficient. I don't think it will take too long to get used to for me. Great changes, Thanks Delphy.

I actually like this new navigation bar even better than the old; it looks cleaner, and it just seems more organised. Thanks for all the continual improvements!

I think it's gonna take a couple of days before I get used to this one. But I like it, so that's not a problem! Good job and thank you, Delphy.

I really like the compact navbar, Delphy. But I've also noticed the search box in the left column on the downloads page sticks out a bit, and seems to push all the downloads over. I'm guessing it is due to some code tweaking for the navbar, but just wanted to ask if it'll be resized? It's not a huge problem or anything, just looks a bit strange poking out of the side of the box (like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...e/SearchBox.png).

I think it is very useful Delphy. The only problem i noticed is that the "downloads home" page is stretched and now i have to scroll left and right to read .It wasn't like that before.I noticed it is only that page that it is stretched is it possible to fix this?

Thank you:-)

When I came on it surprised me, but the site feels much more open now - thanks, Delphy! :-)

The downloads home only scrolls at lower resolutions than I use (1024x768) So I didn't notice it, but I'll fix it in a second.

I think it looks great!!! At first I noticed there was something different but couldn't quite say what, and then I noticed the news article. Thank you for giving us the best sims2 site on the net.

I've just seen this change. It's unusual, but I'm sure that I'll get used to it, soon. But it's a good change. Thanks.

it gonna take some getting used to.
But i would also put the subcategory's in the dropdown menu's make navigation allot more easier

but its not that bad, it looks quite professional

P.S. just realised that the donate links in the nav-bar are gone

my dear lord, it's the ferocious black beast of Rhipsanydoridontodontodontodon, with its large black teeth that can eat 3 humans at once, mate 3 times a year, can reach an average speed of 80 miles/hour, and is 50 ft aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrggghhh

P.S. if you have seen him put this in your signature

wargarumon, putting subcategories in would make it extremely unweidly and add a *lot* of HTML that would get sent with every single page. Not really worth it.
