Hi All,

I just want to say a *huge* thanks to everybody that donated! We certainly didn't expect to hit the target in less than 24 hours!

Everybody who donated more than $10 should have the ability to have thier own custom avatars - it's in the user settings page.

Again, a big thanks to everybody!

Regards

tugbug,

Sorry about that - the email you have on the site and the email you used for PayPal didn't match up but I manually found the transaction and added you anyway.

You should now have the custom avatar ability.

Thanks for the donation!

I missed the request for money. When did it go out? How did it go out? What's it for? Why wasn't I asked to give? Is it still possible to give?

I just checked my paypal account. My donation was exactly 10$, any chance to have my own avatar? BTW, my paypal email doesn't match the email I left on this site, they haven't the same domain name.

The site was becoming very sluggish during peak hours so Delphy needed to upgrade the server's memory. That was the reason for the donation drive.

I didn't have any money in my Paypal account, but now I do. If I donate more than $10 now can I use my own avatar still?

Usually when a request for funds goes out, I like to give so that I am giving something back for the downloads I take. I'm assuming the request for funds was sent privately, but you took down the paypal donation link, so I've been clicking the google ads. I just wanted to say that I would've been willing to donate (still am) if it is needed.

Well, considering everything that I get on the site goes towards the site and doesn't line my pockets, it would make no difference whatsoever.

that's odd it only costs me half that to run my site and it's a dedicated server too with 1000 gb bandwidth.

Well, blade, you get a regular income from your site. MTS2, as has been stated before, is a donation/ads only site. The only reason we did the donation drive was to upgrade the memory - otherwise we get no regular money from this site.

Stop trying to make out how much better you or your site are.
