This happened a long time ago but I was playing a family and they had two kids a child and a toddler well the toddler kept going in one of the bathrooms and just as she was about to transform into a child she just froze and got stuck. I was still able to click on her but couldn't do anything so she ended up being a statue until I moved that family out and into another house, havent had that problem since.

When my toddler got stuck onto my sim. It took like 5 minutes to get it back to normal.

Teen agers that were stuck as teenagers after you moved them to a lot in university. fortunately i was able to move them back to college again via the phone before they auto grew up

With the agent-career (don't know what's called in English, in Dutch it is Ordehandhaving), when you reach the top you are a Superhero, and go to work by walking to the mailbox and disappear in the air. I had a couple of times they come back and were invisible xD

mine was when I was trying to do a group family photo. I had the mom and dad sit on the floor, and I used moveobjects on to place the toddlers in their lap. The photo was perfect! But when I forgot to move them off each other, and when they got up, the toddlers disappeared.

Her neck got twisted.

A surprising glitch I've never seen before..

Happily married couple Aiden & Maddison wanted to auto woohoo after work with ACR. I wasnt really watching but Aiden rejects the makeout session and when I looked back and paused, he rejected the woohoo and they broke out of love O_O. I was like wtf and checked if they had any lovers on the side (they didnt) and checked their memories, and his memory showed "had an affair with Maddison." Hello Aiden? Maddison is your wife! The person you were rejecting right infront of you! I quit without saving since all this didnt make sense xD

This one happened last night and it annoyed me so much.....anyway one of my sims started cooking pork chops and of course started a fire. Well thank god for the sprinkler that put it out but when I told my sim to get the pork chops (she was hungry) she took them out of the oven set it on the stove and salted it like she was cooking and then stuck it back in the oven. I'm like O__O the hell? so I made her get them out again and the same thing happened. So I ended up trying it with another sim and the same thing happened. So I ended up turning move objects on and deleting the oven, replacing it but the same thing was happening. so I went back and tried to delete the pan from my sim's hand, couldnt do that but I did grab her and move her out of the way and then when I went back to live mode it was gone! hooray...........but man that was an annoying glitch.

Some days ago, I clicked to open CAS, and while it was loading, a lot of random error dialogs started appearing for no reason, and I didn't understand why something would go wrong with the trashcan and Cornelia Goth while opening CAS but I kept clicking until CAS finally loaded, and when it loaded the sim didn't appear and the game crashed. I understood that as "My game exploded" and deleted the My Documents/EA Games folder.

Whenever one of my teens in a certain household would sneak out, he'd never come back (and the little "Snuck Out" thing by his thumbnail never came on either). I shift+clicked the mailbox and I selected the one that would teleport him to the mailbox and he came out invisible. I haven't figured out what caused that yet o.O

I had the exact same thing happen with one of my sims, but he was in a custom carreer. Once he reached level 5, I kept finding him standing, in full uniform, in the backyard about 20min after he'd left for work. I kept making him walk to work & he'd walk off the lot & within 5min he's just standing in middle of the yard. The first day this happened he still got paid as though he had been there for the ful shift, but the second day, even though he'd left in the car & walked to work 10 times, he was accused of not being there at all & was subsequently fired. Haven't allowed anyone else to start that job again, will have to do some testing with the other custom careers to make sure it was just that one.

It sounds more like an incompatible mod that needs to come out of your downloads folder.

that particular career has come out, I have removed a few others too just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, sometimes getting rid of pregnancies that were supposed to happen is bad...
I..I think you need to drop the game, and run. Run like you've never run before!

You rarely have to reinstall. Usually, you can just delete one neighborhood. If you want all of your neighborhoods to regenerate, you can just delete your entire Neighborhoods folder.

It shouldn't hurt to keep playing (and if you can use SimPE, you can always extract any custom sims you had to save in case of a neighbourhood regeneration), just be aware that there may be a point in the future where the neighbourhood becomes unplayable.

Sometimes when I play my sim (or one of them) freezen whitout reason. Just the one sim, not the game itself. The sim can move his/her face to look at someone passing by byt can not do anything else. After a few secunds they are allright again and move as the use to. In some situations (I.E. when the sims is supposed to send E-mails) I have to abort the action to get them loose again. Don't know why it happends but it's kind of strange.

This happened last night and I wish I had gotten a picture but I seriously didn't think of it till after the fact. I had a Sim feeding a baby when his wife did the call to meal action. Instead of putting the baby in the crib as per normal (I have a mod that makes them always put them in the crib instead of the floor) he took the baby with him to dinner. Sat down and proceeded to dine along with his wife and visiting in-laws. Then got up and cleared the table and stood about chatting until the in-laws went home, then seemed to remember he was holding the baby and went and put her in the crib.

Didn't seem as if the baby was just stuck to him as the wife had interaction options with the baby. His arm stayed bent holding the baby the entire time he just used his other hand. It was the weirdest thing but I almost wish it was a normal game action so the baby wouldn't have to just lay about in the crib most of the time.

I caught this one last night. My sim stopped working on a meal in the middle of prepping the food but the game did not recognize it so she ended up getting five free cooking skill points before I realized where the problem was.

My sims, Nery Turner and Chester Gieke, had their little trailer park wedding last night in my game. Only a few people bothered to show up in outdated formal wear, it was hilarious. Kaylynn Spitzig and Lilly Do were going at it CONSTANTLY, and just as everyone was about to clear out so they could have their wedding night together, Nery lounges on the up-against-the-wall Murphy Bed and can't get out. Oh jeez.

DigitalSympathies, do you have Inge's inaccessible beds or ACR2 (which includes Inge's mod)? I know I've seen some sims using ACR2 and woohooing on a folded-up Murphy bed before.

Yep, I have 'em installed. It's quite amusing, really. I should've gotten a picture with walls up.

Awww, that's kind of cute really. It totally should be real gameplay, know in reality I spent many a meal eating one-handed with a baby in the other arm.

I had a glitch today, and managed to get a pic of it too. Jae was Potty Training Evalista. Evalista decided to not sit on the potty but in Jae instead. As soon as her bladder bar was full she teleported back to the potty.

Sims 2

The Eternal Birth

I was playing with the curious family and one of them had just started giving birth to an alien baby the only thing is he didn't ever actually give birth to it. He just stood there doing the birth animation over and over again
for hours, faster and faster each time, it was really freaking me out. Then all hell broke loos. All sorts of other glitches started happening I unfortunately can't remember all of them.
I do remember the skunk coming to the lot and walking around in mid air at sim head height with its limbs all twisted around. Shortly after that my game crashed.



Shut In

This one was the most inconvenient of any glitch or bug I've ever had in the sims.
For some reason non of my sims in the entire neighborhood could leave their lots. Not to go to a community, lot not to move out, although they could go to work.
I would try to have them move out and they would get in the car and drive off the lot but their portraits wouldn't disappear and I couldn't save because the game thought they were still moving out.
Sometimes the game would crash and sometimes I could get it to go back to the neighborhood, but sens I couldn't save they still weren't moved out.
The problem was still their even if I restarted the game. In the end I made myself a new account.

Mysterious Pregnancy

I had two family sims and they both wanted to have 20 children.
So I got the female pregnant over and over and over again. I'd get her pregnant again right after she gave birth and I kept all the babies on a different lot then the parents so they could keep having more without worrying about taking care of them.
I was up to about 15 babies. I moved the female back in with the male so she could get pregnant again. But this time I thought I'd give her a bit of a brake and have them spend some time with each other and some of their kids.
So they hadn't tried for a baby yet but the next day she was pregnant. My game was completely vanilla. I didn't have any kind of mod installed that would allow them to have a baby on their own.
So I think, Oh well that's kinda nice, less effort for me. I moved her back to her pregnancy lot and waited for three days but she never gave birth. She was just stuck in the third trimester, forever.


Possession

One day a young girl was walking past my sim's house. She was hovering in mid air.
So I had my sim great this mysterious hovering child sim. They great each other and I discover the she has the voice of an adult male and all the interactions of an adult sim.
I was thinking, holy s**t this sim must be f***ing possessed or something. What I did next I did out of curiosity. My sim was a romance sim and I wanted to know if the game really considered this possessed child to be an adult.
So I had them kiss and make out in a hot tub. I wanted to have the sim join my household but she left before I could invite her ask her to move in. And for some reason I couldn't invite her over .



The Sims 3 Incestuous Adventures

This happened with my first generational family in the sims 3.
My first two sims, Tamara and Xander's daughter had just goten married and she wanted to go on a vacation with her wife. So I had them all go to one of the vacation destinations for a few days. I can't remember which one.
Everything seemed fine until a few days after they got home. I noticed that Xander was relaxing on his bed with his daughter. I thought they were just chating or something but then Xander invited her to cuddle.
Of course I was instantly creeped out by this. Xander had always been a playboy but this was going too far. I figured it had to be a glitch , because in the rules of the game Incest is not allowed. So I look in their family ties and surprise, they are no longer related.
I don't have a save to go back to and her father is now forever labeled as a pervert in my head. Also he is a vampire and I'm getting sick of having him around, so I killed him and his wife. I couldn't spend another 100 days with that guy.

I thought this was a one time occurrence, I thought it was over. But I started a new family and the exact same thing happened. Kid just married, went on vacation, came home and dad tried to have sex with his son.
I don't know man, where did I go wrong?
