@Dizzy-noodles: What's BOTDF? Is this a band or something that old people like me have never heard of?
Oh, and I like salsa music. Heh. My radio stations play mostly 80's music and J-pop.

I refuse to play with free will on because autonomous actions annoy me so much. I have plenty of hacks to stompinate the stuff that turning free will off won't get rid of. One of the things that drove me crazy was that they'd always do completely useless thing that wouldn't gain skill or boost needs, like playing computer games or writing in their diaries. I suppose there's a bit of Fun to be gained - I do sometimes have them play games on the PC - but there are activities that are much more fulfilling.
I also hated it when I'd have guests over or be rushing around for some important reason and then one of the household sims would disappear and take a bubble bath. Usually when their Hygiene is full, too. I think I had one that did this during a FIRE.

Hiya BOTDF is short for Blood on the Dance Floor, they're a band. I only discovered them a few months ago but I LOVE them (and I'm 32 so probably older than you ;p )

-Sims who autonomously flirt with other Sims; Sims who I would never even think of hooking them up with. Ex: I had a Sim in Uni, and he was best friends with one of the girls in his dorm. I left them alone for a few Sim minutes, and when I got back, they had developed crushes on each-other. ._. I broke them up, ruining their friendship. I got them to be friends again, and the same thing happened. So, I decided to marry them when they graduated.

- Visitors. "Okay, I know we just met. But, I'm just going to go in your house and use your things. Kthxbai".

-My pregnant sims always end up falling asleep in their foods.

-"What's this?" Dude, I just replaced your phone. Chillax.

I know that there are mods to fix these sorts of things, but I don't like having too much mods in my game. So, I just deal with them.

Haha I agree with all of these!

Ah, I figured it was a band. Thanks! My 30th birthday is in 2 months, so you're not much older than me. I just assume everyone here is a kid, because it seems that way everywhere else

One of my nannies would not leave, and kept walking round in her underwear (my poor eyes), she wouldn't leave even though she was hungry, tired, etc. I even tried to kill her but she wouldn't die! Eventually I had to move the family out of the house to get rid of her!

Oh is that how they decide where to go first? I've always wondered why everyone who goes to the museum really really wants to look at the garbage bin.

Are you sure its your sims digging holes? Its probably just the stray dogs coming onto your lot and digging.

Lol what's this HAS to be the most pointless and annoying. ESPECIALLY if they disagree on it. Lol.

Personally I find everything my sims do annoying. I'm a control freak, so I always have free will off. I can't stand my simmies running around like rats when they could be doing what I want them to do lol.

I also can't stand when they bird watch or catch butterflies. Everytime I move a family into a new home this happens.

Oh! And I can't stand play fetch. It doesn't go off when free will is disabled because the stupid pets are needy. And if you take free will of the pets they just stand there...and it's creepy.

Autonomous smustling, autonomous "Auto Rain/Hail/Snow", autonomous dancing with adults, be they parents or random people, autonomous bed making, basically a lot of the autonomous actions, thankfully quite a few of them have mods to disable them.

Above all of the annoying bits of auto-actions. Lately, I've been using only custom paintings to decorate the house because it makes it a lot more customizable - and the themes work well together. My painters are all maxed out, and yet their partner goes around to the SAME two or three paintings, and 'ick' them, and then the painter gets really sad that he doesn't like them. They look really good actually, and it matches the room better than a 'grilled cheese' picture.

Sleeping. Sim is bored? Bedtime! Sim needs to pee? Bedtime! Sim should be at work? Bedtime!

With one of my larger families, I got so sick of chasing them all out of bed (never their own bed, either) all day that I ended up locking all the bedroom doors during the day, only letting them in at night. And still the adults ninja the kids' beds while the kids are in the bathroom in the evening!

Writing in their diaries. Every other second someone is plopping their ass down and pulling out a diary. To be fair, there's not much on the lot (not even a house) so there's not much else for them to do but it's still annoying. During normal game play I hate when they play video games on the computer because the sound effects are so loud they grate on my nerves.

I've long since given up on my sims consistantly sleeping in the beds I've designated for them. Some households are better at it than others, but I've noticed that my laziest sims (closest = best) and most hyperactive sims are the worst for it. Nowadays, the only ones I actually stop from playing musical beds are the main Beaker household...though it still doesn't stop addled Guinea Pig (their second human lab rat) from trying to sleep in the same bed as one of her two favorite people, Loki and Circe.

My least favorite autonomous actions are that inhale animation and the shade-eyes animation that came with, I think, Mansions and Gardens. I got a hack to stop the eye-shading, but the inhaling I can mostly live with. Though I doubt that the air smells terribly good, given the number of knocked-over garbage cans and serial-ventrilofarters around.

I hate the eye shading action because it looks so jerky. The other animations are smooth, but sims snap their hands up like their hands are metal and there's a magnet in their forehead.

Have you tried TwoJeffs smart beds? I also had the issue where my sims would go to bed when they still had 33 % of their energy left (a problem that started after installing AL). It was extreamly annoying. However; since I installed smart beds they only go to bed autonomously when they really need to sleep. And if you want to disable all autonomous sleeping the only thing you have to do is to clear all bed ownerships. Smart beds is now an essential hack for me.

Mine would spend all day either writing in their diaries, or looking out the window, if I let them. Which I do not!

And all night in the wrong bed, naturally.

The Freetime autonomous animations they make. Especially the spherical-rubix or whatever it is and the ballet-feet pose. Whenever I tell the to do something, there is always a delay when it comes to accomplishing the task.

And.. Sleeping in the wrong beds, even after sim-years of living and directing to the bed they are supposed to be sleeping in.

I find the needs dance really annoying. I get that they programmed it in there to help us, but does it have to be so LONG? I'd be cool with a simple wave and thought bubble, not all the delaying animations that come afterwards.

I've stopped trying (or caring about) posting on MTS, so from now on this is the only source for my stuff:

Sims running to the window when it begins to rain or snow. Especially when they are doing homework, or they need to go to work. Bam, they are at the window.

Or outside, and let me tell you, when someone is front of your Sim and they are looking at the "snow" well, it sort of looks like they are looking at the chest area.

"Yes, hi, I need to get a close up of your chest, because it seems to be snowing"

Yeah...Whew.

Oh yeah I agree. I had Tegan (My College Sim) She was going out with Bella at the time, and it began to rain, and bam she was up close and personal. Then Bella did it. And they were looking up each other's nose

Then they were pretty close to each other's chests, I was like:

"Well that is another way to get to know each other."

The sleeping in any old bed drives me batty. I don't mind most of the autonomous actions - when you play a lot of ISBI, it's the autonomy that entertains. But the beds! Argh! I tried downloading a hack to assign beds, but it didn't work with my bunkbeds and I needed those more.

Ever since I installed Freetime, my Sims have been obsessed with watching a movie on the television. With all the other "toys" I've given them, all they want to do is plonk themselves down on the couch and watch a movie they've seen countless times before. I am infuriated that I cannot find a mod to fix/alter this D:

The "Watch out!" annoys me as well...seems a bit pointless, unless driveways in the Sims are actually that dangerous.
