Like a total fool, i have yet again wasted my money on another Sims2 EP that is going to disapoint me. But I haven't even installed it yet. I bought Double Deluxe, because I wanted Nightlife and it was the only way I could buy it. Double deluxe includes The Sims 2, Nightlife, and Celebration Stuff.

My problem is that I have Sims2, OFB, and Seasons. When I try to install DD, it tells me I have to uninstall Sims 2 and the EP's. Gah, how bothersome! So I'm already annoyed. But what worries me is ALL my downloads. I have like 1,000 downloads for the game. What is going to happen to them if I uninstall everything just so I can install DD? Do I need to copy everything and save? What about my freakin families, will they get deleted to?

Damn you EA, I know somehow, someway, these Cds could have been made to install without uninstalling first! I don't care if the whole world says I'm wrong, I know it's all an evil plot just to play on my last thread of patience!

Just copy the EA games folder in "My Documents" and put it somewhere like your desktop, or a disk. That contains all your saved data, like your families, neighborhoods, etc. Then uninstall then reinstall, and put that EA games folder back in "My Documents."

Ahh, great! Thank you. Now, what about a way to get back at EA for making things so difficult? Anyone know the CEO's phone number perchance? Hee hee hee.
