Hehe, I've loved that show since the pilot. I remember thinking I might as well watch because I liked the UK version, and totally loved it. I have Mr Krasinski's autograph right above my computer, actually.

:wow: You have his autograph?! I am so jealous of you right now. If you have his autograph, you must have met him or bought it on Ebay. Did you meet him? Is he as cute in real life as he is on TV |

My uncle met him and got them for me.
His hometown is very close to mine though, I'm not gonna lie, when I go there I'm a total stalker trying to find him. ![]() |

I can totally understand that. I passed through Elizabethtown, Kentucky on a roadtrip once and was keeping an eye peeled for Orlando Bloom the whooole time because I knew he was shooting a movie there :D. If I had J. Kras' autograph, I would never wash my hand again after touching the paper .

Oh, man, I love the Office! My favorite episode is the one where Michael burns his foot on his George Foreman grill. :D Pam: Can you hop? Michael: I tried hopping, and now my elbow has a protruberance! *Phyllis stifles a laugh* And then that whole sequence where they're taking Dwight to the hospital and periodically spraying him with the water bottle! It's very witty, very smart, and very funny. I can't wait 'till it comes back on. |

The Injury? That's a great episode. Any epi with Dwight and Jim's hijinks is more than enough to keep me in stitches; probably why I love Conflict Resolution and Drug Testing so much. Jim: You can't be sure it wasn't you. Dwight: That's ridiculous, of course it wasn't me. Jim: Marijuana is a memory loss drug, so maybe you just don't remember. Dwight: I would remember. Jim: How could you if it just erased your memory? Dwight: That's not how it works. Jim: How would you know how it works? Dwight: Knock it off, I'm interviewing you! Jim: No! When I walked in here, you said that *I* would be conducting this interview! Now exactly how much pot did you smoke?! Dwight: *looks astonished* |

I love it! Actually I really p*ss off most of my friends becuse I hate the British office (and I'm British, traitor!) cos I find David Brent just so repulsive its unwatchable. But the American Office *wow!* For one I totally heart J.Kras. Jim/Pam are so adorable. I also really love Kelly for some reason. And I like the new Ryan story arc a lot. Little git. :D It's totally offensive, but that's why its funny. "Michael: You show me a white man you trust, and I will show you a black man that I trust even more." |

Michael tries so hard not to be racist that he's almost racist. He's sooo politically incorrect, but that's why we love him . Has anyone seen the preview for the new epi this week? Jim and Pam going to a dinner party at Michael and Jan's? This will be awesome! |

I've seen it a few times and didn't think it was too funny. It's probably because I don't understand British humor :P. |

I'm utterly obsessed at the moment. I'm from the UK, and got season 2 and 3 on DVD about a month ago. I'm nearly half through series 3 at the moment, and though I think I preferred series 2 as it was more heart-warming, the season 3 Jim and Pam tension is great. I actually like Karen more than I thought I would, she is quite nice really. Unfortunate that she is a plot device to keep Jim and Pam apart. Andy does my head in though. My favourite characters are Jim, Pam, Angela, Kelly and I think Dwight gets funnier and better. I just love his relationship with Angela. My favourite moments are; - When Pam falls off her chair in the Dundies. - When Dwight kisses Angelas cheek in Casino Night and then she slaps him, but smiles as she walks off. - When Pam ends Jim's jinx and he says 'Hi' and she says 'hey'. - When Pam leaves Jim 7 voicemail messages. - In Conflict Resolution when Jim lists all his pranks on Dwight. I like the one where he puts nickels in his phone so Dwight hits himself over the head with it. - Putting Dwights belongings in the vending machine. - Dwight and Angela dancing during Phyllis's wedding. - The end of Money, in the newest series, where Jim tries to comfort Dwight over Angela, then kisses Pam and tells the camera "I'm in love with Italian Food." Those are a few. I could go on, as I have watched them all so recently, but I won't! |

Oooo I love the UK office! Ricky Gervais is a God! Not too good at stand-up though. I love his book, Flanimals too. Back on topic, I've never seen the American Version. Its on Paramount Comedy, and the advert says that its 'funnier then your Office'... so I'll have to watch it to prove them wrong :P |

I shall have to check out the British version again and try to read between the lines. Maybe it'll be funnier the second time around. Those are all great moments, Jenl212 ! Conflict Resolution is an all-around wonderful episode. I also love Casino Night, especially the scene in the parking lot and when Jim comes in the office and kisses Pam. That girl is crazy to have turned him down for so long |

Casino Night is an amazing episode, but I think I prefer all the smaller moments to the big confession. Though how she turned him down after that kiss I'll never know!! My brother is slowly working is way through series 2, and I've made him promise not to watch that one without me. Yesterday I watched The Negotiation is series 3, where Dwight saves Jim from Roy, and I love Angela's fishing for information about Dwights heroism, then them making out on her desk. I love Dwight and Angela almost as much as Jim and Pam. That was a genius move from the writers. Jenna Fischer (Pam) actually says on her myspace blog that The Sims 2 is the most addictive game she has ever played, and has lost hours of her life to it. |

Yeah, the whole American vs. British office really just depends on your sense of humor. The British one is more... awkwardly funny, as in, it's so awkward it's funny, and a lot more toned down than the American one. We Americans like our sitcoms utterly rediculous. I've seen people get into big debates over this, so let's not. As my Peruvian Spanish teacher used to tell my class, "It's not better or worse, it's deefferent."
