I don't know if many people have heard about it - I only saw a clip about it yesterday! Looks interesting though because you can exchange real money from your creations. ( I've started a thread asking people if they have more info about it)

By the way, may I suggest virtual chat sites such as Habbo Hotel or Club Penguin to you? These may be what you're looking for. An online chat site, but in a virtual world where you're your own character. [The link provided for Habbo is the Australian one.
