Hey, If I remember correctly I posted a gay human/robot couple a few pages back, and no one cried outrage. Of course they are welcome.

Nina Caliente and Don Lothario..... ok they are not so much a traditional couple. But they are woohoo friends, and they just had a daughter.

My pictures aren't as good as y'alls, but my couples are just as sweet together.

Sue Casa and her husband Esteban seize a little privacy in the bathroom just before one of the kids starts banging on the door (two elders, two adults, two teens, a kid, and a new baby - one bathroom). She doesn't realize he's feeling guilty because, having just gotten fired, when the baby was born as he walked in the door the want that rolled up in place of "have baby" was "collect insurance on Sue." We were both shocked.




Red and Livva Ann Onions's last child just left for college. What on earth do you suppose he wants?

"You're getting a little meat on your bones, sure. Can't expect the bodies we had in high school. But if the gut bothers you, I'll lose it."
"But I don't know when I can - if I get pregnant again I won't be able to exercise, and I'll be hungry all the time, and -"
"Shhh. You don't have a gut. You're perfect."

At one point, I realized that I didn't have enough non-core sims at University to maximize the experience for my incoming cohort of core sims, so I grabbed all the students in the bin and dumped them into a dorm together. By the time they reached junior year, Jared Starchild and Eric Swain were loose ends from this batch. I kind of liked them, but they didn't work as a couple and they weren't hooking up with anybody else even when I laid traps for them; and they're both family sims, so I wasn't going to play them as singletons. So I made a couple of young ladies in CAS. Jared practically tripped over himself rushing to woo Sara Bellum, the little nerd girl, but Erik was kind of a stick-in-the-mud. Natalie Drest spontaneously called him, studied with him, danced with him, tried to flirt with him, and once even ambush-kissed him at a party (no picture; they were both unselectable and she caught me off-guard); and he was all big-brotherly and "Don't be silly, you're a freshman." Sometimes he even scolded her. (I wish I hadn't had the camera on medium resolution for so long - she's all but crinkling her nose at his lecture.)





But "no" is not an answer Natalie takes, and she wore him down. He addresses her as "kid," she addresses him as "you old prude."




Finally, after he'd graduated and made detective in the Downtown Police Department, he stopped fighting.



Perhaps it had to do with his being a full adult when it happened, but I've never had a sim display the complete "oh wow it's a whole new world" effect of virginity shedding in body language as thoroughly as he did - he practically floated downstairs on his way to work after their private engagement celebration at his apartment - and immediately made lieutenant.

Now he visits her overnight at Tri-Var house, fixes the plumbing and computers when they fritz, and gives big-brotherly advice to her sorority sisters when not too busy.



"What happened to my old prude?"
"You did."

I've just started this couple, and I'm loving it.

Grimm is like an oldschool Disney princess spliced with a Peep: a sweet, harmless creature made of bright yellow sugar with a marshmallow center. He's a pacifist, a daddy's boy, and the dread pirate captain of the good ship Bathtub. He loves the world and it loves him back in return.

Ruby is aggression in its purest form. Unlike most of my other low-nice sims, she cannot be left alone in a room full of strangers without making at least three of them cry or getting into some horrendous fight. She hits all new situations like a hurricane, and usually nothing is left standing in her wake.

They've been together since they were kids.





Ruby's shy, grouchy personality drew Grimm Subject to her like a magnet. He finally got the courage to talk to her on the third day of school and they quickly became friends.





Already best friends, it surprised no one when Grimm and Ruby fell in love and started dating as teens. While Grimm was always the more conventually romantic of the two, Ruby preferred the infamous Noogie of Luuuuurrrrrve.





Now students at La Fiesta Tech, they've gone from playing house to living together. I want to say they've been a good influence on each other -- with Ruby around, Grimm is more likely to approach others and make new friends -- but Ruby's reign of terror over the dormie population continues unabated. So I'm just going to be a LotR geek and say that by giving her the Ring freely, he has set up a Queen, beautiful and terrible. All dormies shall love her and despair.

Hello everybody! I haven't posted pictures in here in forever and I thought I should show you my new couple. They are Xander and Echo Shift, a human and vampire couple. They're both family sims and keep wanting a baby, which I will give them sooner or later. I'm curious as to if any of the children would get Xander's eyes though. As you can see, he's blind.

This is my latest Legacy offspring Archie with his now wife Emily Lee, from when they were both at college at Academie Le Tour. I love them, they're both such geeks Archie got abducted by aliens as a teen as has been a bit anti-social since then, Emily's pretty much the only Sim he interacts with through free will...

Over on Martinez Street Downtown, two Family guys and best friends are finally getting what they wanted. Jared and Erik were juniors when Sara Bellum and Natalie Drest were freshmen, and they had to wait two long years after graduation. It gave them time to get established and have homes ready. Down on the corner, Jared ignored the rampaging flu epidemic and invited all their college friends for a proper wedding bash, with an arch and buffet and music.



He was panting to get their family started, but she just got a job and is afraid if she takes maternity leave too soon it'll hurt her career progression. However, Jared got her hot and bothered enough she completely zoned on using the diaphragm, so she'll just have to figure it out. (If anybody quits a job, it'll be him.)



I like how well that make-out position works with that particular skirt...

Meanwhile, next door their best friends had a much more low-key civil ceremony. Erik and Natalie have both been pushing themselves to go to work and class despite having to run to the bathroom or stand still coughing up a lung for awhile now, and she wants to be a doctor, so they didn't feel right about inviting people over to get reinfected. So he just invited her over on a date and they exchanged rings in the front yard with only his dog for a witness. (Too bad I couldn't get the dog in the shot and still make out anything of their faces.)




He called in sick and they spent a quiet day at home, periodically sharing chest-shattering coughs.




They were both healthy by the time they went to bed that night but by that time they were much too tired to consummate, and he works till six tomorrow, plus who knows when she'll find her medical job or what weird hours it'll have her on? So their kids won't be growing up in synch with their friends' as everybody'd hoped, especially me. Ah, the hectic pace of modern life. And I better be about done with this stupid flu epidemic.
