Everyone's comments were so funny, I love all the speculations. If you guys thought the last chapter was a cliffhanger, I can't wait to see your replies to this one! Muahahaha!

It might be awhile before you get the next chapter. I'm seeing the midnight show of Batman tonight, and then 2 of my friends have birthdays this week and I'm planning the party. And I'm leaving town for a few days this weekend.

I'll do my best b/c I know you guys hate the suspense , but in the mean time feel free to do some more speculation, it was fun reading about how Sean broke up with Kat and why, even though I knew he hadn't.

New reader here! This is another FREAKING WONDERFUL story that I have gotten addicted to!! Darn all of you great Sim story writers!!!!!!!

So, you must be wondering who I called that night? Well, here is your answer:





Emilio.

I know, I know. I have some explaining to do. I’m supposed to be with Sean forever, right?

It’s just that… our relationship was stale. Phone calls were few and far apart, we rarely saw each other anymore, and the romance was dead. Once you’ve been with someone for 3 years, there really aren’t any new things to do or discover about each other. The distance was showing me how lonely I was, and how much I needed a flesh and blood relationship; one that I could touch and smell. I wanted to be in the same room with my boyfriend, not the same CHAT room.

Besides, Emilio was thrilling. Every time he was near, my skin tingled, my senses exploded. It was such a rush, and I was feeling things I hadn’t felt toward Sean since high school. I needed a real relationship, not the façade that Sean and I were hiding behind.

Back to the date… Emilio showed up at 7 o’clock on the dot with a single red rose. I told him to drive us to a new restaurant downtown.





Poor Emilio must have been so confused. I had spent so much of the past 2 semesters turning him down, and now I had called him randomly and taken him to the most romantic restaurant in town.

“I wasn’t expecting you to call me so suddenly. What changed your mind?” he asked.





“I don’t know, but it doesn’t matter. What matters is that we’re here and getting to know each other,” I smiled at him.





He laughed at that. “Kat, we’ve been friends for almost a year, I think we know each other already. Or at least, I know that I’ve waited for a long time to take you to a fancy place like this.”





I smiled, he was so romantic.

“Are you staying with your grandparents again this summer?” Emilio asked hopefully.





“No, I’m going home to be with Momma and help Sophia plan her wedding.”

“Oh, congratulations to your sister, I didn’t know she was engaged.”

“Yeah, it just happened last night,” I replied. “She and Pete are getting married next May.”

“Do you ever wish it was you getting married next summer?”

“No. I know I did the right thing by turning down Sean. I’m not ready. But I do want to get married someday.”

“Me too,” he said, and took my hand in his.

The bill came and Emilio insisted on paying for dinner, even though I offered and had planned to since I was the one who asked him out. Before we left, we wanted to watch the fish in the coy pond at the restaurant.
“I’ve been wanting to tell you how amazing you look tonight,” Emilio said, pulling me closer.





He took me in his arms and kissed me. I hadn’t realized he was such a good kisser. This time there was no guilt or shame. I knew this was the man I wanted to be with.





The restaurant had been getting more crowded, and a woman had sat down at the piano and started playing ‘The Way You Look Tonight.’ A few couples started dancing.

“Would you like to dance?” Emilio asked me.

“I’m not very good,” I protested.

“Just follow my lead,” he said, and swept me onto the dance floor.





I’d never ballroom danced before, but Emilio was great. As we twirled around he started singing along with the music. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful date.

Emilio drove me home and walked me to my door where he kissed me goodnight.





“Kat? What the hell?!?” I heard someone yell from behind us. It was Damion.





“What are you doing here?” I spun around, bewildered.

“I’m here to see Kelli. I think the better question is what are you doing with… him? Does Sean know about this?”

Oh crap, I was caught. Damion would definitely tell Sean he saw me kissing another guy. The two of them had remained friends now that the rift between Kelli and Damion was over.

“Please don’t tell him. I need to do it myself, this is my issue,” I begged.





“You really had me fooled, walking around acting all sweet and leading on my friend. But here you are making out with some other fool. You’d better tell him, or I will.”





Just then Kelli walked out. “What going on out here? I thought I heard you Damion.”





“Did you know about this?” Damion demanded, pointing at Emilio.

“Babe, this really isn’t any of our business. Come on, let’s go,” Kelli said pulling Damion down the steps. “Sorry, Kat, I’ll calm him down.”





The two of them walked down the street, and I turned back to Emilio with a look that said ‘I’m sorry.’





“You’re still with Sean?” Emilio asked, looking hurt.

“No, I mean yes. I haven’t had time to talk to him, but I will,” I explained.

“I can’t be your dirty little secret Kat. I want all of you… or nothing,” he said.

“I’ll tell him, I promise. You’re the one I want to be with.”

omg i cant believe she chose emilio...i dont have a problem with it tho because he seems so sweet and the perfect guy for her and if she isnt feelin sean anymore then she needs to move on an so does he. great choice kat!!!

Lunatic, I knew you'd love this chapter! You called it from the beginning, lol. I didn't mean to make Damion be a pest. He was the only sim who had a reason to be there (seeing Kelli) and would care that Kat was with another guy. I just wanted a little drama for Kat! She can't have everything be easy...

I woke up the next morning smiling. Last night’s date was incredible and I couldn’t wait to start a relationship with Emilio. But there was one last thing I had to do; I had to break up with Sean. I sighed, sitting down at my computer. As I expected, Sean was online.

s0nglyric33: did you get my email?
katattack918: yea, I got it
s0nglyric33: so can I see you before I leave? I get home from the dorm next Friday and my plane leaves next Wednesday
katattack918: have you ever wanted to see other girls?
s0nglyric33: what? No… random
katattack918: I mean, you must have met a lot of new people at college and wanted to ask some of them out
s0nglyric33: why are you asking me this? You know I only have eyes for you Kat
katattack918: It’s okay if you want to see other people, I don’t want to hold you back.
s0nglyric33: you aren’t holding me back, I don’t feel that way.

katattack918: Sean, have you thought about our future? We’re both studying to be doctors. It will be at least 6 years before you’re done with school. A week later I was back at home for the summer. I never did see Sean before he left, but he sent me a few upset e-mails and tried to call my cell phone often. I couldn’t face him, so I ignored his calls.

The night before he left for his summer abroad, he called the house. Momma answered.

“No Sean, I’m sorry but she’s not here… I think you’d better stop calling, you both need space right now… Okay, I’ll tell her you said goodbye. Have a safe flight.”









Meanwhile, Emilio called me every other day. We both had summer jobs and were taking things slow until we went back to school. The new relationship was thrilling; we always had new things to talk about.





In my free time I helped Sophia plan her wedding. Ever since she was a little girl she wanted to get married at Cedarwood Mansion, so one of the first things she did was plan a tour of the property.

The site coordinator showed us the back lawn where weddings take place. “We have room for 40 seated guests and 30 standing. The grounds make for a wonderful location for pictures, and included in your wedding package is an extra 2 hours for you and your photographer to take bridal portraits at your convienance. When is your wedding date?” the guide asked.

“We want to get married in May, but haven’t set the day until we get a location. Do you have any Saturdays in May open?” asked Sophia.





“Excellent, we do recommend that you book your wedding at least 6 months in advance because we are very busy in the summer months. If you two would like to look around some more, I’ll go get my date book and meet you back in the ballroom in 10 minutes.”

Sophia and I stood looking at the wedding arch.

“What do you think Kat?” she asked me.





“It’s gorgeous!” I exclaimed. “But how can you afford this place?”

“Well, Pete’s loaded you know, and his parents have offered to pay for the honeymoon, rehearsal dinner, and location as long as me and Momma pick up the rest. Nonna’s doing all the flowers, and Aunt Ethel volunteered to make our cake.”

“You’re so lucky Sofie! I’ll donate part of my paycheck to helping you pay for the rest,” I offered.

“No, don’t be silly, I can’t let you do that,” she protested.

“We’re sisters, we take care of each other,” I insisted.

“I can’t wait until it’s your turn!” she said. We both squealed with excitement and hurried inside to meet the wedding coordinator.

“How’s May 12th?” the coordinator asked.

“That sounds perfect! I’ll take it!” Sophia replied.





The lady made a note in her book. “Okay, I’ve got you down for the 12th. Today I just need your deposit and I can get you a list of our packages. We offer on site catering and live entertainment options for an extra fee, but you do need to provide your own florist and bakery. You can look over our brochure and give me a call when you decide.”





Sophia wrote a check and bid the coordinator goodbye. We must have giggled the whole way home with excitement. Even though it wasn’t my wedding, I was starting to see just how much planning went into this one special day, and having the location secured was a huge load off our shoulders. On the way we stopped at a gas station and picked up some bridal magazines. Sophia still had to decide on a decorating theme and her dress.





For the next few days we poured over the magazines, tagging every page Sophia liked and writing notes vigorously in the margins.





My favorite part of helping my sister plan her wedding was the dress shopping.

Sophia had always envisioned a princess wedding and thought that her perfect dress would be a big poufy gown. But after trying a few full skirted designs, she got discouraged.

“Ugh, I hate it Kat,” she said as she looked at her reflection. “This isn’t how I envisioned it at all!”





“Oh come on Sofie, there are plenty of dresses here, keep trying,” I said, as my sister started to pout. “Why don’t try a more elegant and modern style… like this one?” I pointed to a slim fitting mermaid gown.

“Hmm, I think I like the fit, but I hate this dress! And I definitely should avoid gloves.”





She disappeared into her fitting room to try another gown as I sat flipping through a magazine.

“Kat! This is it!” my sister shouted.

I looked up just as she emerged. “Oh my gosh! It’s amazing Sofie!”





It was a beautiful, pure white, fish tail gown with intricate lace and beading all over.





“Kat, I want you to choose the bridesmaid dresses. Since it’s a spring wedding, I’m thinking knee length, and I want them to be pink.”

I went to look around the store for those requirements as my sister got dressed. I tried on a couple of gowns, settling on the second one. We both loved it. It screamed Sophia’s style and was perfect for spring.









As I stood there looking at myself in the dress, I got my first bridesmaid pangs. I hoped I hadn’t ruined my chance of ever having a family. I realized how rare and sacred it was when a person finds true love. I started crying, so happy that my sister had found hers.

“I’m so happy for you Sofie. I love you,” I said, hugging her tightly.





“Kat, you’re going to marry Emilio. I know these things, I’m psychic!” we both laughed at her claim, but I knew she was just trying to cheer me up. I hoped she was right.

The next chapter will focus more on Emilio and the type of guy he is... or seems to be...

Again, I'm going to be out of town without computer access this weekend, so the next update won't be for a little while. I already have some pictures taken for it though, so hopefully not too long.

sorry i hav'nt commented in a while- but the updates ZOMG. at first i was like 'please let the date be sean' then scrolled down to see it was elimio and was likee 'noooo' then damion came back and i was like 'damion tell sean, tell sean!' then she dumped sean! and i was likee 'omg noo.' and this reminds me of a story i've read. Tottally diffrent but the break-up was the same- the boy cheated she forgave him but still hated him for it then she met someone else and cheated and she chose the new boy. haha. btw love that last dress on kat!

Thanks you guys! It's good to hear from you again Charley. I knew you were rooting for Sean, but that's just not how it happened. Kat is all too human, and it's sad that Sean got hurt, but that just life sometimes... BUTTTT, the story ain't over yet. There are some more surprises in store.
I don't know how I would continue to write this story if it wasn't for everyone who reads this. I didn't think I'd get much of a response, if any, but you guys keep me going. I actually look forward to posting updates and hearing from you guys. Luv ya! Have a good weekend.

Hey, I have been keeping up with your story. At first, I was rooting for Emilio but then when she was breaking up with Sean, he was so loyal. I feel so bad for him now. Keep up the good writing. Can't wait for next update
