hmmm.. No, I dont think I will change my application pic, because that would be not fair. I hope I will get my Round 2 pics good enough but Not-so-good building skills + Not-so-many furnishing + not-so-good graphic Card = Not-so-good Runway pics.. aaaaah That will take much time >< |

In hindsight of the confusion, I vote to nullify the apps. So, that would mean that everyone who made it through the applications, starts with a zero score again before the first round? |

I agree, app scores are kind of unreliable anyway since people aren't usually trying to do their best, especially in a contest where you don't think there's going to be app eliminations. I would say don't include the app scores in your total. |

readysetgo you didn't even get all the pics for your app. I really don't think you should be in the contest anyway. I for one do want my app scores in. It's not fair that the people with the lowest scores don't want to use them. Of course they don't. I for one think that we should!!!! |

Well I would have been fine not being in the contest but since the host is letting me stay in I think I should have a say. Besides, I wasn't just saying that app scores shouldn't be counted because mine were low... As I said in my original post, app scores don't really reflect anyone's true potential. |

Mhhh... let me rephrase... I think we should not include apps for the rest of the scores.. BUT.. I would also think incomplete apps are among the eliminations that happened before the start of round 1. (Twilight I hope you don't mind me stepping in here... but I think using my list which I kept for judging this contest would be easiest. I did it according to my impression of how you wanted to do this contest at the start. And I think that as a contest judge one of my jobs would be to see that the contest is done fair and logical. Honestly, when scoring the apps I didn't even bother to give a score to unfinished ones.) List of people that entered a complete application: Thus are on to round 1.

I was not aware that there were incomplete applications. From that perspective I understand mornindew's post completely. I personally feel that if you did not complete the application then you should not move on to the next round. Hope it's okay that I'm posting my opinion on this. |

That would be fine with me... I'm not going to blame anyone for me not finishing my app, but I thought Twilight said that apps were going to be open until the end of round 1, so I figured I could finish it anytime before then. As I said earlier, according to the thread title the contest was still on round 1. That's were I got confused... |

Thank you appelsapgodin. If I do a cycle 2 this is how things will be run. Deadlines will be clear cut. Not finished-not moving on. Apps will be added into totals. For now, I hope everyone is okay with how it is. |

 Why did you choose the designer you did? I've always enjoyed the amazing design and beauty in everything Versace does. Do you think you were given enough freedom to complete the ad as you wanted? Absolutely. Why did you do the advertisement the way you did? The dress I had picked was really flowy and I wanted to show the delicate and whimsical feel of it. What do you think you could have done better? I think I could have added more detail. What did you do best? I like how I added the logo as the crystal ball. Why should we let you advance this round? honestly i would like to say the host and judges should be a little bit strict with the contestant due to the dateline...its unfair for those who submit early... because the other contestant can copy your idea or something...besides, to be fair, those who submit after the dateline will automatically eliminated.... no offense... |
