A note to creators: With the implementation of an automatic -image resize script here on MTS (to drop down images that are larger than 800x600 to that size), we've removed the inline image size requirements that have been a part of our guidelines for a long time.

Please note that the limit of 4 inline pics still applies, but these pics can now be the same size as the attached ones.

We hope you enjoy the change, and wish you all the best of luck in whatever you are creating next!

I was just wondering does this work for the forums as well? Or is it just certain areas of the site?

Oh, that's great news Delphy, now we don't need to resize everything before uploading! N-i-c-e One

It should work in all forums. And it's very cool. Thanks Delphy!

Does this mean that inline picture can be 1280x1024?

That's great. So many times when I resize it ruins the photo or distorts it.
Thanks, Delphy!

Fantastic! =D
I'll get much better pictures if I don't have to resize, plus it's less work.

Does this have anything to do with why I'm seeing uploads with more than 8 screenshots? Or am I seeing that for some other awesome reason?

Link? Uploads, unless super speshul, can only have 4 in line pictures and 8 attached. Sometimes, for large uploads, the rules are bent a little bit.

In the post - as opposed to in the "attached images" box at the bottom.

Delphy I have been looking for a picture setup for a good while now to work with my PC and that is easy for me to work I have not found one yet, Ok I use to upload pictures of what I created to this site they was 600x450, in size. So a bit confuse here do this mean I can still do ( 600x450 ) and that this site is setup to resize it,a bit bigger ?

Sorry if I make no sense lol

The resizer will not size your images -up-, only -down-. You still need to provide large screenshots yourself. 600x450 is small - you need to take bigger pics.

What about the image file size?
Is there still a limit on that?
