<Corsix> Why 'mod the sims 2' when you can mod 'mod the sims 2'?

Woo hoo, 50+ percent! :D

Also 456654,

Not to get off topic again, but I just had to give my two cents. By saying that MTS doesn't have good uploads you're giving every creator up here a virtual smack in the face! Like Delphy said, the creators here are 100% unpaid yet they put only their best efforts in their creations.

By complaining about the lack of mods, I assume you're talking about TS3? Well considering that the game is only a little over 3 months old and the massive amount of CC already out there, I'd say we're doing just fine. Fortunately TS3 is super easy to tweak so there's no real reason to flood the download section with teensy DIY XML mods.

Lastly, like others have said, if you want something done then do it yourself. There's nothing more aggravating then having someone ask you to make some content personally for them, as if they own the world. Especially when they don't understand the time it takes to create such things. And besides, it's much more rewarding to make your own creations rather than piggybacking off of someone else.

Anyhoos, I and many others donated because we enjoy the site and want to support it. Obviously you're unhappy here, so either leave or be quiet You don't have to donate.

Off topic, I know, but Well Said!

Back on topic- my income is fairly limited but I will be donating something very soon. It will be the very first time I've donated to any site and it will be well worth it. (Get that 456654? See that little icon under my username? It says I'm a creator? I don't get paid to create and I'm willing to donate MONEY on top of the time I spend to create! That's because this site is worth it.)

I can think of a lot of Modders on this site who would take what you are saying 456654, as a insult, if you are not going to "donate" or show some kind of "respect" for this site and Staff and creators here, I will personally build you a home and show you where the front door is. Hey Delphy, could you check my icons? I don't think my donation made me an addict, even if I am, or a featured creator. And I have 2 creator icons. Thanks

romagi It can take 12 hours for the donation icon thingiebobber to show up, so give it a bit. I see a $ and a heart below your name, indicating monthly supporter and donator.

The "icons that shouldn't be there" may be part of some donation bugginess that Delphy is currently fixing. See if there is a thread about it in Site Issues, there might be. Getting a featured icon is one of the friendliest bugs I've ever seen though, gave me a chuckle.

Could you add a 'Buy from Amazon.de' link ?

I will gladly buy my games through your site but I don't want to buy them in UK and have to pay extra shipping cost.

Greetings

romagi: The icons should be fixed now. Still working out the kinks in the script.

crinrict: Unfortunately, I don't have an Amazon associates account in the .de Amazon store, so buying stuff from there doesn't help the store.

yuzu9386: All donaters get hearts, even if they donate after the drive is over.

Donation is on it's way, Delphy. I forgot to mention my user name (duh!), but I did get the thank you page, so everything's good.

At least I could give back a little to this site, especially since I get so much from here.

MTS is a scam

Post Note: Facts come straight from: this website

What the-

This is ridiculous! :O

I think Delphy and all mod's and admin's deserve a big applause for making this site, the best (free) Sims2/3 site ever and financing all, that is needed to keep up MTS and spending most of their time with making MTS even better and better. *applauds*

So, why not making a donation? :D

Please stop quoting the troll. Delphy has replied to this and rebutted the accusation. Let's let it die.

I'm worried that my latest Salvation Army donation will result in homeless people looking like sluts from the 90s.

*Rolls eyes at Troll.*

You know... because of this Troll I will now donate an extra 5 dollar on top of my original donation.

This 5 bucks is not for MTS, but for Delphy himself. To get a beer (or 2, I dunno what a bottle costs in Ireland) on me, because I think he must need a drink after that load of ****.

(Edit... now I forgot to add my username... well I already got a heart, so who cares: but just so you know transaction #0L67552283522533Y from the Netherlands is beermoney, not server-money! LOL)

Oh dear. Delphy is already quite the merry prankster while sober. I hope some folks follow appelsapgodin's example, but not too many. Imagine a hopped up Delphy! Scary. ;p

I just tried to donate...don't know if it will go through. I haven't used PayPal in years although I have an account. I entered my credit card info in the credit card column and when I hit enter it said I had a PayPal account. My PayPal account is old and I never use it so I hit continue hoping it would just charge my credit card. It seemed to go through but at the end said that I could check details at PayPal. PayPal doesn't even have a record of the credit card I used. Crossing fingers that the money gets through.

I didn't know you were supposed to put your username in either so I didn't get my wee heart, but donate I did. Didn't get any email and still have the banner asking for money.

Love seeing the donation numbers rise. MTS helps so many other sites as well, so donating here is like a ripple in a pond.
Sidenote; Ireland, Delphy? I didnt know that. Saw your beautiful country this summer, wish I could move there! Grand, yep, yep.

All my creations are free to use, no permission required. Make any changes that you want, as long as you don't upload it as your own work. You can find more of my work at http://vintageandvoguesims2.weebly.com or at http://TheIsleofCatarinaSims.com . "Remember - It's a game"

Excuse me you cheeky little toad. I spend a lot of time working on things for my own site as well as uploading stuff here, including mods, lots, build items, etc. I have filled requests where I could as I'm just nice that way. How dare you demand that people like me who are kind enough to spend our time making things for you for free step up the game. You can't mod, well neither could I a few months ago. Go and learn like the rest of us and stop complaining.

You'll take what you get and be grateful for it or just buzz off and let the people who do appreciate it benefit from it.

NO, people can't say what they want on the site or what they want uploaded, people take what we can manage to make. If you do have a request from a creator, then you could discreetly pm them to ask if they wouldn't mind doing it, as we don't get paid it would be at the creators discretion. I find all of the creators on this site to be very nice and friendly.

If you can't find what you're looking for here, go google it and see if it's on another site

Oh and yes, I donated because I know how much a website costs to run.
