I have posted a thread about custom content not showing up in my game. I even contacted Delphy about his TS3 Helper. First, I have download the TS3 Helper rar, I have installed it but it did not place the monkey icon on my desktop. I am the Admin of my own computer, I have full control and I followed all the installation instructions. I have the four files in the mods/ packages: misc, skins, patterns, hacks. I have downloaded several files and extracted with winrar, cut and paste but I don't know where to place the files. Say for instance, I downloaded a windows file what folder would I put it in. If the installer does it what folder would it put the item in. I am very confused. The only thing that is showing up in my game is the sims 3 package files. Can someone help me, I am getting very frustrated.

all sims 3 cc files i have ever encounted are either .sims3pack files, which you seem to be okay with, and .package files. If you used the installer monkey, the files would go to your mods-packages folder. That is where you should put them if you are cut and pasting them. I hope that helped...? EDIT: Do you mean that package files are not showing up in the downlaods section of the launcher? Because if that is what you mean, they are not meant to, they automatically appear in the game when placed in the mods-packages folder. If you mean in the actual game then... /\ look at the stuff up the top if you havn't already |

As long as the files are in Mods/Packages, it doesn't matter what subfolder they're in - those are just there to make it easier for you to organise your content. You can delete them, add different subfolders, not use subfolders at all - it's entirely up to you. |
