this is the smallest house i think can possibly be made, it's fully furnished and looks great :D

http://img163.imageshack.us/g/screenshotso.jpg/

I've used a slimming 18 tiles! with a fully functioning bathroom, kitchen and bedroom there is no space left to add anything you could possibly want!
Now, here comes the big question, could there be anything and i mean Anything that i could to to further compact my simslave's living space?

(I'm using a custom world if your wondering why it looks so different )

TS3 sims don't need houses at all, so the smallest possible house would be no house.

Newbie Road/Wee Barnoid: Starter houses | Backdoor Lane: Urban lots | Baskerville | Middleground | Elsewhere

I'm gone for now. Boats > Sims. Thanks for everything – it was a great time!

To have a house that has the necessities the only thing I can see that you could do to make your house smaller is by getting rid of the bump out for the frig. Sim only need one counter the stove and frig. Your kitchen could just be 2x3 and still be functioning.

If you look in the Downloads section for TS2, there's a lot of 1x1 mini-starter lots (many of them by plasticbox) that demonstrate compact, cute building - maybe you could use some as inspiration to size down your lot even further, if ya want.

Not to quibble, but... can you get him to eat in there? My sims appear to refuse to eat in bed, and they're remarkably recalcitrant about eating standing up.

Also, he can't get into the shower placed that way, can he? You'd have to swap it with the toilet.

i think that could be smaller than that so ive made one with 13 tiles but it could be smaller than that if you dont put a stove and counter because the sims can live with quick meal that dont need to be prepared, and about one seat to eat, your sims problaby will go automaticly sit in the toilet seat to eat so here is my smaller house with 13 titles

I suppose it's not exactly fair if it's all one room, but

good job but if you think that a sim dont need to sleep but just nap, i think that could be smaller if a sim just nap in a sofa(2x1) and deleting the bed that could be just 8 tiles :D

You could also get rid of the toilet and just have
fridge space sofa
shower space sofa

6 tiles. Instead of using the toilet they'd just...pee and shower.

This is unbelievably disgusting. But so true. I had a sim go to the bathroom to sit on the toilet to eat. And there was a perfectly good dining table and two chairs.
