So I did a little detailed map of where my tribes are coming from. Not so much of a story as a plan. Ah well. Let me know if it's interesting!

Tribe Rules:

4 tribes

Oceanic Tribe:
Commodity: Fish, Music, cats, writing
Norwegianish
Traditions: Wear tattoo of a water and fish- orange/yellow for women, white/black for men. Women, when married, wear their hair up. Small tattoo on face, blue, M, and green, F, to symbolize tribe. First son is the heir.

Plains Tribe:
Commodity: Animals (horses, wolves), cooking, repairing
Native/Indian
Traditions: Last daughter is the heir. Has an intricate design on the face, in red, with the center as their spirit color. On the day of their wedding, they get a horse in their spirit color. Young girls have their hair up or covered. Men and second daughters have an arranged marriage on the day they are born. The first daughter chooses an acceptable match on the day of her 17th birthday.

Farming tribe:
Commodity: Fruits, painting, potions
African
Traditions: Youngest son inherits. Has an intricate design on chest. Green is the main color, color of the intended bride as the middle color. Has a leaf on the back. Men grow their hair long once married. First son chooses the marriages of his sisters, parents choose marriages for the sons.

Technological tribe:
Commodity: Alchemy, sculpture, inventions
Albino and Green eyes
Traditions: The most skilled child or grandchild becomes the heir. All the children choose their marriage partners, but it must be agreed upon by their siblings. They have a gear tattoo on their face, that is black. All black haired (or other haired children) wear their hair short, but white haired children must have long hair. They must have mastered one skill by the time they leave their parents, or they are disowned.

Rules: Commodities are the main way to get money. You may use the Consignment store or trade between tribes. Tribes may only make the commodities of their tribe. Jobs are handed out based on the commodities from the tribe. Elders decide what happens in a tribe. There may be no electricity, unless crafted by the invention or sculpting tables. All families must have children. Children may not stay in their parents houses past teen years. By teen years, the children should have their marriages set up, and move into their new families house. One main form of teaching is by using the “daycare” sort of function. One person from each tribe “invites” all of the children to their residence for several hours a day (receiving money from the tribe elders), and teaches them the ways of the tribe. This job is often (but not always) taken over by the elders. The elders also get paid a stipend once a week from their split offs- this is usually in the form of goods that have been created or traded, and very rarely is it money. Tribe elders may declare other tribes as enemies, allies, or partners. Within tribes, there are these classes: The elders, the family, the merchants, the peasants. It all depends on birth, gender, marriage, and skill. Only in times of lack of suitable candidates may a person marry their imaginary friend.

Commodities: Fish, fruits, animals, painting, music, cooking, alchemy, books, sculpture, inventions, potions, repairing
Skills: Handiness, inventing, logic, athletic, painting, sculpting, musics, alchemy, gardening, fishing, charisma, writing, cooking, riding,
Jobs: teachers, elders, mages, ghost hunters, criminal, alchemy, painting, writing, sculpting, inventing, fishermen, farmers, daycare, junkyard, breeder

Long post again... ah well. Man I gotta cut back on my time here! Lol.

sorry for political offtopic stuff, but! have to leave a comment, made me laugh..
not only germans are possibly 'n'azi's'
i'm pretty sure many other countries do have much more 'n'azi's' than germany nowadays..

just felt that i had to defend ^^

what are you doing here?
well, i was on my way to this gay gypsy bar mitzvah for the disabled, when i suddenly thought, 'gosh, the third reich's a bit rubbish, i think i'll kill the fuhrer.'

I really don't think it matters. Sure, it was a really tragic even in history but this id Mod the Sims. We shouldn't be arguing over historical events. (I really don't feel the need to be mean but I feel it's taking up too much of the forum here.)
