I give up the games mods my never works! No matter what I try. Want to scream. Why can't it be easy like sims2.

It -is- easy. Actually, it's a lot easier than Sims 2, since as long as you get the basic setup working right, it just works - no faffing around with using the Body Shop trick and so forth.

Game Help:Installing Sims 3 Package Files^wiki Do it that way and it works. Make sure to remove any of the "old way" stuff from Program Files if you ever had it there. And it'll work.
