This probably isn't the right place to post this and I apologize in advance, but this is about as far as I could get. I normally I access Mod the Sims through the main page that has the navigation bars, menus etc...For some reason when I go to the main site none of the drop down menus are accessible. I can't get into the community, downloads, help section or anywhere that requries the drop down menus. None of the pictures or links from the main page are workng for me as well. I came to this page by going into my profile, looking at a list of all my post and selecting a recent post that I'd made in this section. This started yesterday evening, please assist. |

Have you been logged on since yesterday evening? A logoff (try with this link - http://www.modthesims.info/login.ph...ogout&u=4243873 ), clearing of caches and re-logon doesn't help? Sometimes an external cache+cookie remover helps...like ccleaner. This usually happens to me when the browser has had an update that I haven't applied or Delphy has been tinkering in his monkey lab again and the new stuff need a cache refresh. |

This is a javascript problem - make sure you've got javascript enabled and that you have *.modthesims.info (the asterisk is important) in your allowed sites/trusted sites/exceptions list. Go to http://static.modthesims.info and tell us what you see. |

I cleared my caches, cookies, and history under the general tab in internet options yesterday, the problem started after this. I also added some new anti-virus,spyware,firewall protections,etc...I thought the new software might be affecting it. I tried disabling the fire wall and other things I thought might be blocking it, but no luck so far. But then I don't really know what to test I was just guessing. Ellacharmed- I followed the link you provided and logged out, still no good. I'll look for an external cache&cookie remover. Whiterider when I follow the link I see this: "If you can see this, you should be able to get static content images from MTS." HOw do I enable Javascript? |

Do you have NoScript running? It should have a bar at the bottom that lets you click and then select which scripts to allow from what sites. |

So I cleaned up all my caches, downloaded new Java, updated my drivers, bought a PC heath program, defragged etc... Problem persisted was fixed but persisted with Internet Explorer. I downloaded Opera to use as a browser and everything is now in order. As much of a pain as it was running the PC health software and updating, defragging, fixing etc... made a huge difference computer is running quite smoothly now, even my 12 gig CC game is loading faster. So please consider this closed and reccomendation to run regular maintanence on your computer. Thank you everyone for replies and suggestions. |
