Hi there, I was thinking about writing a fairly beginnery picture taking tutorial for the Sims 2, covering things like candid shots, using the Bon Voyage poses, using pose boxes, useful cheats, screenshot programmes and a little bit about editing images in a graphics programme afterwards. I see that there is a thread for picture tutorials here where I can post it, but I just wanted to ask if the 4 inline pictures per post rule is still valid for a tutorial, like it is in the normal pictures threads? Obviously it would be nice to be able to show examples of things I'm explaining - after all, a picture says a thousand words! :-D But I don't want my tutorial to get deleted for being over the picture limit, if there is one, so I just thought I'd ask. Thanks in advance to whoever replies :-) |

No, the rule doesn't apply to tutorials.

Awesome! Thanks whiterider :-) I'll try not to use gazillions of pictures, as I'm sure that'll slow things down for people with slower internet connections, but I'll definitely be using more than four! :-D Now to finish writing it..... |

I had no idea that thread was even there. Is there a link to it somewhere in the Tutorials pages and/or the wiki? Picture taking, pose boxes, not just for story tellers. Very useful for clothing and object creators too. |
