Where do I find the family thumbnail? You know, the picture of the family that is used as the thumb for your saved game. It was easy to find in Sims 2, but I can't figure it out with Sims 3. I'm on a Mac, but if anyone knows the location it should be easy for me to find. Thanks for any help. |

You could try to print screen and edit before loading your neighborhood... Other than that I don't think they incorporated the thumbnails in sims 3... Just another thing they were too lazy to do. |

And never again, and never again...They gave us two shots to the back of the head... And we're all dead now... |

Family Thumbnail....? I'm sorry, but to properly answer the question, can you tell me what it does? |

It is in the save game file itself. On a PC, lol, this in the MyDocs, Saves area you know? The .nhd file itself on your save game. This file can be opened in S3PE (or I guess your favorite Mac equivalent). One of the SNAP resources is the one you are looking for. |

So it's somewhere in the saved game file. Thanks. Now I just have to figure out how to get in there and copy the family thumbnail. Or if it comes down to it, I'll just take a screen capture of the main page and do some cropping. |
