I'm wondering if other simmers have favourite furniture or other buy mode stuff. I find myself using the same things over and over again, no matter how many houses I build. Sometimes I even decide to use furniture I normally don't, but then end up going back to the same old ones again... I, for example, like many things that came with Ambitions EP. Like the Lady Abigail Bed, that one is totally overused in my games. I use it practically with every family I have. I just like the looks of that bed, it's traditional and cute but still not too decorative. Another favourite is the Wicker Living Chair. Whenever I make a house with a porch, I have to use this chair. It looks so comfy. From base game I totally overuse the Country Fried Overhead Cabinets and the counters from the same set. My favourite store set has to be the Provence Set. I love the dining chairs and kitchen decoratives it has. Also the stove is very useful and looks great. Sometimes I wish my imagination was more flexible.

Gothique Sofa - I use this one in a lot of pictures. It looks really beautiful when photographed. I really like the sofa and chair from Muse Luxury well. It's simple, yet very elegant and classy. |

KirSif I have recently discovered the niceness of that bed, as it is convertible to a 4 poster with the use of moveobjectson and various curtains and drapery. I totally overuse the Immemorial Counter as it has nice details for 'painted' Shaker style kitchens which I prefer for my building style. Also, the Countryfried counter has a lot more going for it when you 'paint' it. With you on the Goth set Misanthrope, I adore the curtains! |

I find I use the Bayside kitchen set a lot. Don't know if it counts because it's a store item but there you go. I also use the expensive toilet a lot too. |

I have from the beginning used the Bayside kitchen set too much. It looks neat with the right patterns. Also it goes with the mid-century style homes I tend to build. The Lady Abigail beds might be one of the reasons I got Ambitions in the first place. Love the style. I tend to use the Chicken Fried upper cabinets with any of the game counters. They look better than the matching ones from any other set. If EA would fix some of their shoddy work, like the Scarab Rejuvenation bed (I know Bau5 did a wonderful fixed bed), I would use it like crazy. Also looks good in mid-century styled homes. I do try to use some of everything when decorating lots I create, but some are just favorites because how they look. |

I always use the fridge and stove from the Bayside Store set. Because they're best value for their price. The Excessinator stove is only 650, doesn't burn food and does not get dirty. Plus you won't get the negative cheap stove moodlet. The same goes with the fridge. It's 600 and has the same stats like the 1000$ fridge. And no "Tastes like fridge" moodlet. And I love the one-tile vintage stereo from the t-mobile promotion sets. Other than that, as I hardly build or decorate myself, I masochistically use whatever came with the house I either downloaded or which the game provides. (Yes, I do play EA's houses. |

I don't always use the same furniture but I do love to clutter my house up. My kitchens always have all the small appliances, paper towel holder, multiple throw rugs, plants/flowers, wall decorations, that little cheap votive candle you can buy at the grocery store... you get the picture. My real life kitchen is kind of cluttered so maybe that's why I like it. I tend to add a bunch of other non-functional buy mode items to other rooms in the house too. I try to fill up every slot on a surface, just looks so much more "homey" that way. And by homey I mean slightly like an episode of Hoarders. |

I tend to gravitate towards the modern couch, living chair and love seat from the base game. They look quite nice, and are very versatile.

I actually removed all my CC furniture because I was always overwhelmed by options when building houses. So I use all the EA furniture, really often. |
