Just finished decorating my beach house, just the backyard left now. Here's a few pictures, sorry for the strange angles, the size/wall placement of these rooms made it really hard to take decent pictures.

And some more pictures here on my blog.

Thanks everyone!

beatdoc16 - Great rooms (the floral pattern you used is adorable), I always love your pics

One more pic of my beach house, the backyard this time (not exactly a room lol, but I thought this was the most appropriate thread).

The landscaping is kinda bleh, but I like the gardening area.

I think he came with Riverview, along with other various farm themed items.

I've been working on this house to move my couple into, and I'm still working on it, so if the rooms seem a bit sparse, that's because I plan to add more when the Sims are wishing for "buy something that costs $200" etc. I figure I could use that as an excuse to fulfill wishes and continue the decorating! =)

You might notice in this pic my dishwasher is silver while my other appliances are white. I've got some sort of glitch with my dishwasher that won't allow me to change colors of it. I've done it before and I even have a saved one of a new color I created before, but it just won't work for me right now! Makes me mad, I really need a white one for this room!

Oh my god: can you rotate objects slightly? (like I think I see that chair?) Not just 8 angles? Oh god, I need this game, I love every single room! I love that bunny by the bed, and how the shower matches the flooring. The fishtank, that cabinet by the tub...

Thanks Yep, 360 degree rotation when you hold alt while placing an object, and you can move it outside the grid too, it's great.

Wow! All of the rooms in here are great, especially yours, Martine. =) Do you do custom interior decorating if we can give you a house to work with?

Sorry, even though that sounds fun, I'm afraid I don't have enough time to do that. Glad you liked my rooms though

Martine - I love your decorating style! Very cozy and comfy.
Beatdoc - Those rooms are beautiful! I especially like the colors in the bathroom. Very elegant.
momicajack - You do wonderful things with color! I love that kitchen.

I'm having a total blast decorating in TS3, which is surprising since its only base game, and I don't even have any store items yet. CAST is just too much fun.

Anyway, thanks to one of HP's retro patterns, I could make this retro kitchen:

Martine - Just lovely! Your kid's room has such a perfect atmosphere - not too sweet and not too messy but comfortable, ecclectic and well loved (and what a great view from the windows!) I particularly like the little pink bunny left carelessly at the end of the bed.

jenba - Such a funny, beautiful kitchen. Looks like something straight from a tv sitcom. Actually, as a child of the 70s, it looks like something straight from my childhood. Except for the wallpaper, of course. The 70's never had such good taste. Amazing job.

This is the first (and so far only) house I've ever decorated in Sims 3. Unfortunately, it's a bit 'mixy-matchy' but I'm shamefully lazy lately when it comes to imagination. Still, I like it. It's easy to live in. (Err.. I mean for my sims to live in... )

44 Coffees - That doesn't look lazy at all! I love how your rooms are modern but still very cozy. I adore the colors, especially the color of the wall in the bedroom! Very soothing, and it looks fab with the purple.

My current sim Ana recently got married and is now expecting her first child. It was time to move to a bigger place!
