Hi guys, so I installed the sims 2 and all of its EPs and SPs. Everything's going great, but I have a question regarding the Lifetime wants that Freetime adds. I use Pescado's FFsdebugger to cycle through the lifetime wants to find something that I'd relate to the sim. However, on the sims wiki, it says that Freetime adds two lifetime wants to the Family Aspiration: Become World Class Ballet Dancer, Become Head of SCIA. That does not appear on my game for family, it does however appear for the other aspirations that are "supposed" to have them. Is the wiki just plain wrong or am I missing something? o.o |

The error may be that these new LTWs are tied to the Family aspiration. The LTWs are definitely there, but more likely for Fortune or Popularity sims. Since you're into Pescado's hacks, look for ltwvariety. It allows sims to have LTWs outside what the game normally assigns for particular aspirations based on interests, personality, and even what the parents' LTWs are. |

Thank you for replying and referring me to that hack. Also, those specific 2 LTW are definitely not in my game, since with the option "Cycle LTW" from Pescado's FFSDebugger the game just goes through every LTW available to that aspiration. I tried installing the game in another computer with only: sims 2 double deluxe, university and freetime. Same thing, which led me to believe the wiki had made a typo since every other aspiration had all of the corresponding LTWs. But I wanted to make sure there wasn't something wrong with my installation.

The wiki is wrong. All new careers in FT were blindly dumped into Fortune and Knowledge, except Dance which was put into Knowledge only. None were added to Family. |

Oh alright thanks. Odd though, Dance does show in wealth for me lol. Thank you both for answering.

I also have a Fortune sim who wants to be a dancer. Perhaps the coding was tweaked in a later EP. |

Maybe Dance was in wealth too. I'm trying to interpret my cryptic notes, which mostly consist of swearing at EA for being so stupid |

I have those LTWs in my game. I can't remember which Aspiration makes the Sim roll those LTWs but I do have them. Just spawn the Simmodder, and then choose LTWs on it, Cycle through all, not just the ones for a particular Aspriration. I haven't used Pescado's hack for the LTWs, so I can't say whether it rolls just LTWs for the particular Aspiration or rolls all in game. But Sim Modder does. The Sim must be idle, then click the Wants, Cycle through all radio button, then unpause the game, mouse over the LTW, pause again, keep doing this until you get the LTW you want for that Sim or any Sim on lot. |

I think Dance is also in with the Romance aspiration. For that matter I've also seen Pleasure Sims rolls Wants for get a job in the Criminal career track. |
