So I am in the final stages of my new hair mesh and I notice when messing with the facial features to make my sim to play in live mode for final testing that when I change parts of it that it tends to warp the hair out of place. Spiking it up strangly and so on.

When I did the bone assignments I had followed the tut and used the 71 for the newhead bone assignment. Should have used the Headdome instead for the base head part of the ponytail to make sure that it moved with the scalp instead?

If your hair has identical vertex IDs as vertices used in the face, then the identical ones will be affected by face sliders.

Renumber the vertices for your hair using WesHowe's Milkshape plugin (found under Vertex-->Sims3 Vertex Autonum). 20000-29999 is the standard range for hair, so set 20000 as your starting number.

I will give that a shot. Thank you.

[Edit]
It worked perfectly. Finally the new hair mesh is finished and looks perfect. Thank you and every one that helped me trouble shoot it to this point.
