I hope this is the right forum, it seemed like the best choice out of the ones available. If it isn't, then my apologies =)

So, to clarify, when I say accessories I mean mostly anything that goes under glasses-category in game. Earrings, necklaces, bags, nails, hair-things. Ever since I started getting CC's I've been frustrated at the fact that glasses category clusters up real quick and you spend forever trying to find what you need. Additionally, things like nails/bracelets are hard to view (at least I don't know of a way to make it look at hands while at glasses). I can see why things are usually placed here since it works for all expansions, but ever since I got Bon Voyage I've been wondering if it would be possible to re-assign items from glasses to this category. I have no experience whatsoever with modding or creating, so before I set out to learn how, I'd like to know if it's even possible in the first place.

Has anyone tried this before? Or just know if it works? I'd greatly appreciate it if you would share your experience, if you did try =)

It's all perfectly possible. It can be done in SimPE as well, but it's much easier (just some clicks) with jfade's Wardrobe Wrangler. It comes with a manual.
