I know of one way, put the pre made building underground and build from there. I want to know if ther's a way to skip the first part and just build my building (hospital, school, etc.) and the game will say the building i just built is the hospital, school...
I have the game version of the hospital underground from the one i'm building but the sims will only use the pre made one. how to get the sims to use the buildings i make?

Alternatively, you could probably use the Lunar Lakes portals as futuristic rabbithole doorways. You'd probably have to place them in CAW(Create a World tool) instead of build mode, though.

The lot type can be assigned in CAW.

Wouldn't the tops of the rabbit holes stick out of the ground? Some of them are quite large.

If you have Lunar lakes, you can use the rabbit hole portals in any world. They are not embedded in the world file, so you won't need an addon or clone to unlock them in other worlds.

No they don't. But you need the basement to be big enough for sims to access all the rabbithole's doors (some have doors at the back) or sims can get stuck. The rugs are a less cumbersome solution. However the sims won't actually be using YOUR building they still use the rabbithole or rug, the rest of the building is just for show.
