After hours and hours of testing and re-doing, I finally got my tv station to show up (used a custom channel I had downloaded and followed directions to personalize it - did not create the channel). Kept messing with a video clip of the muppets and got it to play/show up in the game, but there's no sound. How do I fix this?

Edit: Re-did the clip with a different converter and got them to work! My Sims love the new shows.
